Mario,Link,DK,among alot of others I could name deserve to be on the walk of fame.I have been playing video games well over 20 years.And I still love to play them.And my children who will be 20,14,12 this year and my husband they also love to play.Video games.Nintendo rules.Please do this for Mario and all the others they deserve it.thank you.Tammy Meredith
Mario has been an ICON in not only the gaming industry but in touching our lives everywhere.Games anymore have basically become movies. The stories and plots are so deeply thought out that they keep you entertained wanting more.
Video games tell storys which are not restricted by language, Millions of people around the world are entertained by these games its time to show some acknowledge ment to the creators of these games and the charcters themselves
you can't do this mario is my hero people had george clooney or miceal j fox and etc but my hero and best friend was a fat ass italian plumber and he deserves as much recognition as anone else
hes obviously a bigger star around the world than any other actor in the United States. Why not? He even inspired a movie (even though it didnt turn out to be so great).
It's time that Mario got the recognition that Mickey Mouse has enjoyed for more than 75 years! Mario has touched so many of our hearts from childhood into adulthood. I love him and will always adore those video games and cartoon shows! Please show recognition for such a special character!
Nintendo would not be where it is today without Mario and other systems wouldn't have made it in the market without displaying the possibilities that Super Mario Bros. possessed! A true pioneer and lovable character, needs to be celebrated, because without Super Mario video games would perhaps not be as popular as they are today!
hmm. I like the idea, but I wouldn't put actual characters on the walk of fame. I would put creators like all the other people. it wouldn't make sence to put austin powers. it would make more sence to put mike myers. so instead of putting mario,DK,Zelda...put shigeru miyamoto, creator of all three! make sence?

Mario, at one time was more recognized by children than MICKEY MOUSE, if that isn't a good enough reason to earn your own star on the walk of fame then I don't know what is.
