Since the gaming industry is getting more and more attention and popularity (even making more profit then the movie industry) I think it's fair that it's main icon get their recognition on the walk of fame.
I don't know much about video games...but I DO know that Mario is awesome!! I really like all the Mario games so why not give him and other popular characters a star? They deserve it just as much as other famous people.

Mario is known all over the world. Ask any kid if they know who he is and they will identify him. At one point Mario was identified by more children than was Mickey Mouse.
To me Games mean more than movie and they have a right to be on the walk of fame. Games are a huge part of the entertainment biz and deserve ot be recognised.

I think it would be awesome for Mario, Fox, Link, Luigi, Bowser, Donkey Kong, And many more great video game characters to have stars. It would give me a reason to go see the Walk Of Fame..
That would be neat to see Mario or Link in the Walk of Fame. But, dont' forget about Fox McCloud. Games have become a major part of our lives just like movies. We need to recognize the hard work it takes to produce the graphics, sounds, MOVIES, and characters.

Nintendo was my first game system and Mario, my first video game superstar. I believe that there should be a Hollywood Walk of fame for Mario and numerous other Nintendo stars like Luigi, Zelda, Donkey Kong and many more! The entertainment industry clearly thrives predominantly on the video gaming industry in the new 21st century. I think it is quite appropriate for them to receive the same kind of recognition as the other mediums.
Mario is the coolest(only) little Italian guy who fights an evil turtle(a.k.a. Bowser)and his weird minions so I think Mario should be honered for all he does.
