We the gamers of the world are shocked and upset at Nintendo for their change of name from The Revolution to the Wii. The Wii is a name that completly misrepresents the product, and will cause Nintendo even more ridicule. The entire point of the console is to reinvent and Revolutionize gaming. Therefore, the name Revolution is a much better name for the console, and will allow people to see the console for what it truly is. In conclusion, we want Nintendo to go drop the name Wii and use the former name.

We want a Revolution.

I don't want to pee in the middle of the game. I mean if nintendo is not confident enough to call this console a revolution, they can always call it something else, but it has to be something cool. "Wii" might be acceptable as a mp3 player, but as a game console, NO. something is wrong.....

because I like the Nintendo company, and this poorly represents Nintendo and this name change will cause loss of customers and profit in the Revolution. I will not be purchasing one because of the name, and I know of many others that won't be either. SAVE the Revolution!

Wii has to have come from somebody, or a group of people that have an IQ of 2 higher than butter. If they can't use the name Revolution due to trademark issues, why not come up with another cool name, or something that would appeal to the public. As they have named the Revolution a Wii, they have probably lost themselves many customers, that are probably not interested in purchasing a game console with a name so closely resembling many words not heard so often in everyday life. As stated in all of the previous signs, this would just not work out. Nintendo has made a decision to name their product that will just get them insults and a high level of ridicule, rather than make them the money they deserve for such a REVOLUTIONARY product. As most people are aware, Sony and Microsoft are putting a lot of effort into advertizing their products with good names. Even if the games for the consoles are not quite as good as those made by or for Nintendo, most Joes will go out and buy a console beefed up with the greatest fastest largest sleekest most attractive graphics card, or one that has such a fast processor lightning could not be quite as quick. Nintendo, noticing how much money is put into these extreme graffics and amazing preformance machines, decided not to follow the same road as them, but rather play their cards a little differently. Up until now, they were doing very well, and I'm sure that quite a lot of people would have bought their product. But after changing the Revolution's name to Wii, they have lost themselves quite a few potential customers. Yes it is probably true that it isn't possible to trademark Revolution, but why the HELL would they chose something as ridiculous as Wii? That makes absofuckinlutely no business sense what soever. I don't know how to pronounce it, first off. Second, all Nintendo systems so for have been actual words. ie, Nintendo Entertainment system, Super Nintendo Eentertainment System, Family Computer, Nintendo 64, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance...

Yeah, mostly Wii hate it. Do they even speak foreign languages at Nintendo? The french will have a hard time and the english, we'll just Wii ourselves. Examples- Customer: Can I have a Wii? Shopkeep: Yeah, the toilet is over there "I really love to play with my Wii!" Friend1: Wanna come to my house and play with my Wii? Friend2: Ewww, no... Guy1: I really need an Xbox 360.
