My Chemical Romance gives us the right to be who we are, they save lives and their music is inspiring. If you're a fan or not you have to respect them for their dedication and love for music.
MCR, i know exactly where i would be without them, and it's a very lonely cold and distance place underground. They taught me to be true to myself and beat all the odds. Because of MCR, I'm Okay Now.
Its cliche as a teen movie but its true. My Chemical Romance Saved Me. And by savign ym they saved my life and any other lifes I have saved in some way. By helping me a chain reaction occurs and I can save others and then they can. Not only is sit a chain reaction, but a circle of life. Because the band saves the memebers and the band is there ebcause of the fans who the band is saving. I have no problem with peopel not liking the music but if a parent takes away the music, if it is banned from a sxhool so many kids will fall into depression. Especially the ones that will never hear the sound of such inspiration. I support My Chemical Romance with my body, mind, heart, and soul. Long Live the music!
Five incredible men have saved hundreds of thousands of suffering teenagers lives. They deserve the highest honor, not critism from adults who judge them soley on surface value. Long live the Black Parade.
My Chemical Romance saved me from my self. They are the only band, I feel, truely understand what I am going through. They come across as sincere and honest. The people who say shit about them are full of shit because they are honestly the band who will save your life.

My Chemical Romance was never meant to be dangerous to kids. That is not the reason Gerard Way formed this band. He wanted to stop wasting his own life away and help people in need.
My Chemical Romance has helped me in so many ways possible that there's too many to write all at once. Everyone I know at school says My Chemical Romance are horrible, but secretly I've seen them ALL listening to MCR by theirselves. My Chemical Romance was not started by these amazing men to make people hurt themselves, their songs were/are there to let their fans know that IT'S OKAY to be upset, sad, or different, because THEY'RE OKAY NOW. And so am I.
This band does save lives. They reach out to us through their music and that is amazing. I love this band with all my heart and more. I could go on forever just talking about them.
I've loved MCR ever since my friend lent me a CD of hers. Something I don't understand...MCR is critizized for being 'dark' and 'scary' and for putting 'bad thoughts in our mind'...but would you rather have your child listen to music that tells them that it's okay to rape, do drugs, steal, etc?
MCR give me strength and courage when i feel i don't have it, they prove that survival is possible, they're a lifeline for us.This project is brilliant :)

It is totally ridiculous to say that MCR are anything but amazing. They are five guys who have been through their own problems and make music that inspires and uplifts and brings hope to so many people. I'm a parent who has been through a hell of a lot and their music has bougfht me through some pretty horrific things.My daughter is 12 and got into MCR from stealing my cds, but their music has helped her through being badly bullied and other problems and has given her nothing but a positive influence. In fact she has been inspired to learn guitar and has met lots of new friends thru the mcrmy. Maybe journalists should worry more about the rappers that glorify gun crime etc.
I support this MCR petition as all artists have a right to express themselves freely nobody makes anyon ecommit suicide thats why its call ed self harm. it may be influential to some but if your life isnt stable without the music in the first place its not hte cause now is it?

I have never listened to a band that has totally understood and have reached out to me like My Chemical Romace have. The lyrics speak to you, and if they hadn't of spoken to me, I'm scared of what might have become of me.
MCR is a huge part of my life. No words can even begin to express how much they mean to me. They are not bad people, they just want to help. For those of you who think that they are bad because of the way they look or because the songs that they sing, you are blind in a sense that you don't see how wonderful those 5 men are. I don't know what I would do without them in my life. I would be lost in the darkness. Please don't take my heros away from me!
In times when I have been feeling down, MCR have helped me back on my feet. I can relate to their lyrics, and they are inspiring. I know I'm not alone and that I can get help. They have saved me so many times.Calling them dangerous is stupid. I would like to know, how many people would have killed themselves if it weren't for MCR. I can think of 3, personally.
