I support this petition. My Chemical Romance have helped me through so much. Without them, I'm not sure what or where I'd be. They are legends. They do not promote suicide, they save fucking lives!
I support this petition. Completely, Not a second thought. For such a long time there's been talk about how My Chemical Romance is Supporting Suicide, That it's their fault, How they are not a good band. And it makes me laugh, truly does. Because if those people, the media and whoever even thinks that must not have heard these boys talk. Because if they just listened, one time, one time when these wonderful boys talked. They'd know, All this band wants is to save lives. They want to help, and they want to reach out and show people they are not alone. And it's because of that many fans adore them. I myself didn't need help saving my life, I wasn't on the track to depression. But it's because this band that I never ever did go down that road. My Chemical Romance Taught me not to be afraid, not to feel left out, because I'm not alone, I have many things to live for. And for that I'm grateful, and I believe in this band.
So as stated, I support this Petition all the way.
MCR saved my life, simple as that. i absolutly agree with this petition, people should understand why we give a shit about this band and maybe try listening to them before they start critisizing them or assuming shit. because of mcr we're okay now, and maybe this petition will help people understand.
People should have the right to do whatever the hell they choose to do. Listening to My Chemical Romance hasnt Saved My Life at any point, because Im not that influenced to let bands formed by guys that give me nothing but music, well appreciated music at that, I am not dissing MCR.But MCR has some comfort in the lyrics, words and sentences that dont necessarily give answers to all of your problems, but they can help. Its just the matter of how you take those advices in and translate into whatever the hell they want.My Chemical Romance does not own an individual. They dont tell it to their faces, Hey Drop Dead. Kill Yourself or anything like that. Its the individual himself or herself that is possibly going through very difficult times and are too unfortunate to have anyone guide them to the light on the end of the tunnel. You know? Some people just need help from their loved ones. Thats what people have to understand. They cant go and blame some band because theyre too embarrassed they werent there when they were needed. To think that maybe there was something that they couldve done themselves to prevent suicides.I know a lot of what I wrote makes no sense at all, I just took a sleeping pill because I have trouble sleeping and Im pretty dopey now x]But MCR doesnt own anyone, no one belongs to them. A fan is a fan, and a fan can easily change the choice of fandom. And to accuse a band, who has got no direct connection to a fan who may have killed herself, to be responsible for it? I just ask if anyone knows where the common sense is? Because if thats the case, the common sense is far, far away.
I could not agree more. The only reason I am still here today is because of My Chemical Romance. Never once have they encouraged suicide, but on the contrary they encourage you to get help if you are into SI, SH, or suicidal. They want us to live.
Honestly, there is so much MCR has done for me I could go on and on. But the main bit is, they\'re just five really good people looking to do some good in the world in the best way they know how. The band rose from perhaps one of the worst moments in our county\'s history and asked us to take their hand and to never be afraid again (quite literally), and they wanted to help people, shield people from the harsh reality. They\'ve helped so many people, and they\'ve helped me. When I had virtually no friends or family they were the ones to pick me up, and let me know they were really there for me. They saved my life and they\'ve become a part of it.The were the only ones to see me in my darkest hour, and they stopped me from taking those pills, or hanging myself. They\'re the reason I\'m strong, they\'re the reason I\'m okay now.
I agree! My parents forbid me to listen to My Chemical Romance \'cause of their music and clouths and never take the time to actually listen to the lyrics. Thank you for writing/typing/whatever this petition !
MCR is not a suicide cult. That simple. If you ever want to know anything about them, look it up! I don\'t understand why people find so many bad things and lies about them, when it\'s just as easy to find the right info on them. These 5 boys have done nothing wrong. Leave them alone, or else we won\'t, and you\'ll have a bunch of fans to answer to.
My Chemical Romance didn\'t save my life, but that is because they prevented me from ever getting to the point where I would need saving. They\'ve helped me get through some really hard times in my life and I still turn to them today whenever I\'m feeling sad. I\'ve learned to be comfortable with who I am and to stand up for myself and my friends. I don\'t know who I would be without My Chem, and I\'m so thankful that I found them four years ago. I\'m proud to say that they will be my favorite band forever.
My Chemical Romance has been a part of my life since November of 2005. These guys have influenced me to be a better person, they\'ve made me a happier person, and their lyrics have ad a positive (not negative) influence on my life. Without some of My CHemical Romance, I don\'t know where i would be.
I support the We\'re Okay Now project because whawt the media does to My Chemical Romance is wrong. My Chemical Romance save our lives. I wear my faith braclet proud and will always be a fan, until death.
Good luck at the protest guys! We\'re here in Canada!
My Chemical Romance lyrics that i keep with me forever: \

During my entire time of loving My Chemical Romance, I\'ve been through quite some hard times. But I\'m still here, and I\'m okay now, thanks to these heroes.
I could seriously write an entire book on how this band has helped me, but I wont go into that right now. I\'ll just say that this band has helped me in ways I didn\'t beileve could come. They\'ve mad me happier than I could have ever imagined. This band saved my life, and I\'ll owe it to them forever. There aren\'t words to describe how this band makes me feel, because when you\'re at an MCR show and you\'re screaming lyrics like \
mcr is the best thing that has ever happened to me. They saved my life and they helped me and my friends when a friend of ours died at school in january. I get so angry when the news tries to put a bad name to them. Mcr are not monsters, they are heroes. They SAVE lives! I suggest that they listen to the music cuz it\'s obvious that they haven\'t. I will always support MCR 100% until the day i die. I am okay now my chem. I want to thank them in person. I\'m really glad for this petition too ^_^ It shows how many mcr fans really care about them ^_^ and how much their music has really affected their lives. ^_^ that\'s wonderful. I also support We\'re okay now ^_^ MCR FOREVER!!!
I am okay now. After all that I, we, have been through, My Chemical Romance has pulled through. Congratulations guys, you've succeeded in saving millions of people's lives.
My Chemical Romance is one of those bands who care. They know what it's like, they've been there and they want to help. They've saved my life more than once, and the lives of a million others.
Any person who thinks My Chemical Romance promotes self-harm need only hear one song and feel the words sung down so melodically. It seems, everyone listens but nobody hears.
mcr are a gerat band and are an insparation so f*ck the media i support we're ok now all the way.i say we fight through this because the media prints the biggest sh*t for money we need to act fast before something bad happens. i already have my we're okay now t-shirt and braclet
