Faux fur is... FAKE. That's why it sucks. That's for the same reason normal people eat meat, not meat flavored soy crap. For the same reason imitation brand clothes and accessories suck (unless it's the only thing you can buy).
I want my purse to be authentic and natural (something that grew on an animal) not dried petroleum. There's nothing wrong with sophistication.

I have browsed around at Wet Seal before, but I have never bought anything there. Now that I know about fur being sold there, I will never shop there again until they stop selling fur. (Note to Wet Seal: Hello! Ever hear of fake fur? It's the 21st Century, for Heaven sakes!)
How about a petition addressing cruelty toward animals that AREN'T cute and fluffy. It would still carry a wagonload of flawed logic behind it, but at least people would stop the "too cute to kill" mentality.
