Tell me...Is it only I who think that rock is the best music? Come on, we get BAM, Bowling for Soup, the Killers, Fall Out Boy, AFI,My Chemical Romance, Green Day, Good Charlotte (the list goes on!). I have not met a person who can't like Mr. Brightside, Sugar, We're Goin Down, Boulevard of Broken Dreams....

Everyone is entitled to their own taste, and of course, it shouldn't be a surprise of what I support. Personally I don't like rock, I can't relate to it and I don't feel the music, therefore, it's not my style. Hip Hop is where my life revolves around, I grew up on freestyles, breakdancing, graffiti arts, DJing, etc...! However, maybe once in a while I could tolerate 3 minutes of listening to rock, but I must agree with the majority here that your taste is horrible. There is no way possible that this pop punk craze could ever be in the same league as hip hop, so I suggest you start a new list if you want to compare it to the likes of Run Dmc, Sugarhill Gang, Grandmaster Flash, or even more recent The Roots. Keep Hip Hop Alive

The bands you listed all rock. Except for Good Charlotte and Bowling for Soup. The suck. But AFI is my favotite band. Their not emo you idiots. Their not anything, their there own stlye. God, I'm sick of people saying that their emo fags. THEY ARE NOT! But, back to the subject, Rock is more pure than rap. end of story. MAHR WILL BE DESTROYED!

Rock is definatly more pure, more honest lyrically and musically then hip hop. Except, all the bands you listed suck and are wanabes that play for money. I don't care if people like hip hop, they can listen to that if they like, but I personally hate it. Though I care if people listen to shit rock, because they are so close, yet so far, to the real thing. I was lucky, when I forst noticed rock, I like shit like G.C., Linkin Park, the entire list. But I got past that stage and found Thrash Metal, and how it has changed me for the better. So, in all honesty, wanabe rock was of some use to me. Oh dear.

Sugar, we're goin down, and Boulevard both suck. But rock and roll is the greatest thing that ever happened to the world. LONG LIVE THE STROKES! btw, the Killers and Green Day are the only two good bands on that list. LONG LIVE THE STROKES!
