Why is child porn illegal? Adult porn isnt, so why is child porn illegal? If a person prefers child porn to adult porn, then surely it is their right to see what they want. Ok, child porn where the child doesnt want to be in porn should be illegal, but if the kid is ok with it, then why is it still illegal?.

I support this petition. i like child porn from like 1yo to about 10yo...... i have all ways liked it and i have even fooled around with children around those ages. people say that children are being hurt by all this and let me tell you, none of them have ever complained and we to this day we still have an awsome relationship....i think if the child and parent is ok with it, i dont see how anyone can tell them no..... no one likes being told that they aren\'t allowed to do something...... i would like to talk more about this if any one wants to message me.

I have never seen child porn, but wouldnt mind. Ive been having sex since i was 10, and would like to see others. I dont know where i can see any though. I dont think it should be illegal.

Its illegal because someone decided that unless you are over 18 you are a child. In the 1980s newspapers used to publish pics of topless 16 and 17 yo girls, even Sarah Young (the porn star) did nude for Penthouse at 17, now it is illegal to show those pics which seems daft to me. On a personal note I have nude pics of me when I was in my teens, including some dirty hardcore stuff. This was pretty much pre-internet. It wasnt published, but looking back on it, I enjoyed the experience and I wouldnt have worried about it being seen. I was mature enough to handle opening my legs at 15, so I think I could handle everyone else seeing it. Might have been a problem at school, though luckily mine was only for girls, not sure about the consequences in a co-ed.

I also agree that children, even very young children, CAN agree to sex and be mentally stable later in life. I am one of those cases. Since age 6 or 7, I've been having sex with my father, and while some may say I should feel horrible about myself, I don't, and we still have sex to this day. So anybody looking at the pictures or videos he took would be pleased to know I was NOT being forced. THATS why you can't say they're all being "forced"

I think teenagers can make these kind of decisions, although children cannot. Legally in UK you are classed as a child until you are 18. That always seems a bit silly to me. I first had sex at 14 and it hasn't done me any harm. I have seen underage and child porn, some of it is very good, and the models are well cared for and often enjoy what they are dong. However there is some distressing and "forced" photography, which I do not like. Over all, in a managed enviroment, I dont see teen (12 to 18 yo) porn as a problem. I would however consider child porn a problem (under 12). Having said thta, it becomes harder and harder to draw the line. If you have a line, people will always want to go beyond it.
