Wiccan Rights...DENIED?

the methodist childrens home advertises itself as an organisation dedicated to assisting at risk children. they also claim that they will not descriminate based on sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity or religion. It has recently became apparent that this is not true. the methodist home recently released the child of a close friendly friend. This is after they forced both him and several of his friends into meetings (all of them being wiccan except for two young christian girls)they searched their rooms while they were at school, threatened them with dismissal if they so much as spoke about wicca, Banned them from walking under the premise, "they might be meeting to practice wicca." allowed their employees to disrepespect the children calling them devil worshippers and satanists, refused to allow them to wear their pentacles and confiscated all books in their possesion pertaining to wicca. they caused these poor children emotional anguish and then refused to allow any room for discussion. the home then moved on to not only disrespect the children but to disrespect the adults. The children submitted complaints however (by filling out S.R.A's or special requests for assistance.) that the home refused to pass on. eventually the home began publicly harrasing them during the mandatory church services calling them non believers and sinners.

Maybe I am wrong but I have never seen any of these children harm anyone and all of the ones I met were nothing but respectful and happy until this incident. after the home began attacking them they all seemed so scared. I can't count how many times I heard my friend telling me how her son come on a homevisit crying because oh the unfairness of how they were treated. Personally I am a christian woman and although I am not wiccan I believe that they should have the right to express themselves religiously as they see fit. true being that it is a Methodist home they are more than welcome to place some strictures on the way they practice but to punish them, search them and in essence make these poor childrens lives more difficult than they already are is over stepping an invisible boundary.
