DO IT, our uniforms are the 2nd worst in history behind the original Raptors jersey in the D.Stoudamire years (I take that back, we're the 3rd worst uniform in league history behind Toronto and Boston's same old Green uni's)
The Wizards uniforms looked cool when they first came out but they have since aged poorly, especially the road uniforms. They look tacky compared to the rest of the league. Black jerseys would be a huge improvement for the road uniforms.
the change is long overdue. We should at least change the road uniforms. They just seem to be a little outdated because we have carried the same look since the 1997 season when they changed the team name to "Wizards".
Yes please change the uniforms they're dorky looking and a great team like the Bu--err, Wiz deserves a change. Wouldn't mind name change back to the Bullets but that's not going to happen. :(

I supoort this because the away jersey is very boring. It's almost all white...too much of it. The logo is OK but it could be a tad more intimidating. I mean if Magic Johnson had played for the wizards the logo would be fine but all the Wizards had was an wged MJ. I would also change the name back to the Bullets. One of the biggest problem in the U.S. is that we are way too oeversensitive. Thinking the name Bullets vs. Wizards actually puts lives in jeopardy in rdiculous.

It's about time the wizards got new uniforms or colors, maybe even change the name back to the Bullets. Anyway I'm tired like a lot of other people of seeing those plain looking jerseys.

Because I'm a Wizard fan and I think the Wizards' uniform should be the best uniform in the NBA since this is the nation's capital NBA team. This is a new era and the team has made the playoffs twice. Time to change the present uniforms that represents the lottery team Wizards.

I'd love to change the colors -- either to the recently used retro "orange" or to the red-white-blue. If the colors have to stay the same, please consider following the Caps model and ditching the muted blue road unis and going for black! I promise you'd sell more!

As a longtime Boulez fan, I long for the old unis. Since they ain't coming back, redoing the currently horrible uniforms is the next best thing.
Also the cooler the unis, the more non-Wiz fan jersey sales there will be and thus the more national pub we'll get.
I'm tired of the Wiz still being considered a backwater team in the NBA. Improved uniforms could go a long way to change that perception.
for many reasons. I am actually a resident of Baltimore and still refer to the Wizards as the Bullets. Unfortunately due to the political correctness that permeates our society that name was deemed unacceptable. I think the Wizards name is fine but the logo/colors/design really need an updated look. I have seen many freelance efforts that look 20x better than the current design. Please invest a little time and $$$ in a new look for a new era of basketball in DC. Honestly...the only Wizard-esque jersey I own is a Jordan Bullets throwback. Its the only thing I would ever buy in relation to the WIZ/Bullets until there is a satisfactory update of the current debacle that is the Wizards logo/jerseys. PLEASE DO IT FOR THE FANS AND FOR THE REST OF THE LEAGUE! It is LONG OVERDUE!
even as a non-wizards fan, the jerseys are hidieous, and I still refuse to call them the Wizards. What kind of kiddie name is that? I refer to them as the Bullets. Change the jerseys to something better. The nations capital deserves better.
As a Cleveland Cavaliers fan, I support this petition. I had to watch six consecutive games of the Wiz in those uniforms and honestly I don't know how Wiz fans do it for 82+ every yeat. God bless them...
Anyways, I don't think the uniform itself is the problem. I think the name, logo and color scheme all need to go. A couple years back, the Cavaliers switched from our god awful orange, baby blue and black unis and our win total has increased ever since. We went back to the Wine and Gold and stressed calling the team the Cavaliers over the shorter Cavs that had been used in recent years.
Since that change, we've gone from 17 wins to 50 wins and we're in the second round of the playoffs for the first time in almost 15 years. I think with a great young player like Arenas and a good young core the team that resides in Washington could be great for years to come and possibly win a championship. Just please don't let them do it while being called the "wizards" than name is horrible. I'd like the Washington team to adopt a more masculine name or something that has to do with Washington. I thought the Bullets name was fine but I understand that is never coming back. I still call them the Bullets to this day and will continue to until they get something better than the "Wizards".
Please make the changes...

Seriously, the current logo, colors, and jerseys are so ugly it's embarrassing. A new logo would be great (or at least make the "DC" logo the featured logo), and some variation of the orange throwbacks would prefect.

The home unis aren't bad, but the road threads look like the Wiz bought the factory's leftover die. Bring back those throw-back orange unis the team wore in 04-05. That orange was great.
they simply don't look good. From a marketing standpoint, you want your team to have a flashy jersey that stands out on TV and looks good when you advertise it. Our away jerseys are too dull... they need some color and life!
I support this petition because this is a new era of Wizards basketball. Change can be beautiful unlike the current uniforms. The road blue is hideous and how many teams in the NBA have had the same jersey for almost 10 years in this day and age?
