Go back to red white and blue! The Caps finally did, and the Nats look good in those colors too (their font could use some work, though). The blue/gold/black combo and the goofy logo/font were a stupid gimmick to promote the name change and the MCI Center. If we can't have our name back, at least give us back our colors and a classic font. The Nats' "DC" logo could be good inspiration. The Nats and the Caps have had a lot of success with their "Paint the Town Red" and "Red-out" campaigns. It's time the Wizards go back to their patriotic roots so they can join in on the fun.

yeah. i support this petition. the bulletts were a great team with an loyal fan base, despite basically staying the same team since moving into this area. so, it doesnt seam like the wizards are going back to the bullets. but I do petition for a uniform change. a good idea would be; HOME; white jerseys with washington going across in blue letters and red trim around the jersey, belt, and short. AWAY; virtually the same. Red jerseys with blue washington going across also blue and red trim around the jersey, belt, and short. so actually, its the same as the bullets in the Juwan C Webb days but with the city name going across instead of bullets. since we are not bringing the Bullets back, at least pay Homage to the history and go back to red white and blue. Only reason we have the current black blue and bronze color scheme is because the capitals had those..and now they dont..and basically, were just stuck with them..abandoning our history. we are in the Nations Capital, it would be convient to wear RED WHITE and BLUE.
The name and the jumping wizard logo are lame. I do like the DC logo with the ball on the C. They should use the DC logo on the home jersey and Washington on the road jersey. And stick with blue copper and black for the colors, or use the black and metallic gold color scheme.
I'm not even a Wizards fan, but I came across this site trying to find an explanation of why the team would ever wear these uniforms. By far the worst I've ever seen. I couldn't believe it when, on easter, my non-basketball watching relatives actually mentioned how bad the uniforms were. And I guess it goes without saying but the name Wizards is lame, as is the logo. Bring back the Bullets (or anything else). I feel sorry every time I see Arenas playing for this team.
Change the Washington Wizards back into the Washington Bullets.
Bullets is non-offensive while "THE WASHING GRAND-WIZARDS" clearly celbrates the KKK!!!!

I have a suggestion. Since it's unlikely that they will change the name back to the Bullets, why not have Washington on the jerseys instead of Wizards? The Wizards logo sucks too. The font is ok but the little half moon basketball on the W is lame. Maybe we could also go back to the red, white and blue colors to pay homage to the Bullets? The gold jerseys are horrible! Please get rid of them.

because the rightful name of this franchise is "Seadogs" (Ask Don and Mike) We were bamboozled by ownership with more PC crappola that has infiltrated our society. The marketing ploy was a flop, the name a flop and political correctness in sport a flop. If management is not willing to go back to the original name, then go with the name that was supported by the majority of voters (at $0.50 per call on top of that).

If you needto keep the Wizards name, replace the name"Bullets" with "Wizards" whilekeeping the bold Bullets font instead of thatsilly, wavy Wizards font. Maybe carry over thebasketball crescent moon on top of the"i" in Wizards to the new uni's.
I know the Bobcats have orange, butlots of teams share black and blue, and whateverelse colors. And besides we were there beforethem. At least, how 'bout sharing some love?
'cuz it's outdated y'know? we need stronger unis to let 'em know that we're the real deal. we need our home uni to be: mostly white, with blue & gold, and say "wizards" on it. our away uni should be: blue, with white and blue and says "washington" on it.
it wouldn't be bad to change the name back to "bullets"...it's our name that we won a championship in, and it's alot stronger. Back in the day, Washington DC was the highest U.S. city with crime, now it's not so we can change the name back

the colors are just too bland and the logo is too complex. This is the age of the iPod and cosumers are in favor of stark colors and clean lines. Essentially the Wiz needs to redesign the cramped logo and implement some better colors
I support this petition because the uniforms have no character. They don't say anything. They don't generate any excitement. The colors are bland as well. How about the orange retro unis? Or a new design altogether? Anything but what they have now. Please!!!!!!!!!
I never liked the Red white and blue when I was a kid, I like the new colors, but the solid blue is really really bad. Need a new base color, or bring back the Orange.

Our unis stink! The idea of a wizard being a tough guy is quite good but our wiz logo is awful and look like something a burger joint would make. Call us the Burger Wizards and it might fit.
