This fantastically witty, humorous, creative, ingenious show was not even given a chance. If Fox could only market it for what it's worth, it would gain a larger following; with just four episodes, it has already generated a loyal fanbase and if Fox just gives it the chance, it could become HUGE!
Wonderfalls really wasn't given a chance- didn't even let it finish its short run...let alone it being put in the Death Spot right off, and only allowed to be on Thurs night once before yanking it. This show is witty, clever, and deserves a chance to grab more of an audience. And if the previews would be a bit less lamer, I think that could happen.
This show wasn't even given a chance to thrive. It's the best show I have seen in a *very* long time and I am completely disappointed in FOX for canceling it.
'Am I a [show] worth saving?' Yes. Wonderfalls was touching, brilliant and funny as hell. Critically hailed, and poorly marketed. Whose damn fault was it? Swallow the hit and put the remaining eps on the air, TCF!
This is one of the few *quality* shows out there. It wasn't given enough of a shot, and that's not fair. Don't let this good show fall through the cracks.
Wonderfall is a very original show. We enjoy it very much. The acting is excellent, also. One question-why did they put in on Thursday last week instead of Friday and not tell anyone they were going to do that?
"Reality tv" seems to span across the entire television spectrum nowadays. Thus, making it near impossible to find a quality, scripted series. Fox has done incredibly well with "The OC", but The Oc started in the middle of the summer time, to give audiences something to devour while everyone else shows reruns. "Wonderfalls" on the other hand, made its debut right smack dab in the middle of a season where everyone had already found the shows they wish to follow. Wonderfalls is a refreshing, clever break from increasingly complicated "reality " shows like American Idol, Survivor, and one of the latest additions, "Forever Eden". I can almost assure that given the proper publicity and a little bit of faith, Wonderfalls could be a huge success.
Wonderfalls is a creative, compelling fantasy that somehow still manages to resonate and ring true for viewers. It is a testimony to Fox's amentia that they are unwilling to nurture such a promising new show.
My friends and I gathered every week for the last month to watch these episodes and laugh out loud. That might only be six people, but I'm pretty sure we weren't alone. There is an audience for intelligently scripted television; please don't take away one of the only remaining shows to appeal to that crowd.
Please keep wonderfals on the air. This is by far the most unique program to come out by fox in a long time. Do not let this oportunity of an icon program to slip away
In a world filled with 'reality' programming that I despise, Wonderfalls was a rare glimpse at a genre that seems to be getting lost amidst the disgusting parade of the indignities that humans will undergo for a lump sum of cash. It's sad that these unique shows with actual entertainment value not rooted in grossing the audience out can be presumed dead before ever making it on the air. Perhaps I should just start saving myself the trouble and refuse to watch anything that isn't out on DVD already.
Wonderfalls is one of the best shows I've seen lately. It's hysterical, witty, and just a great show. All it needs is a proper time slot (and stick with it, so many people get into shows but timeslot changes cause them to forget or not be able to continue watching) and better publicity. Get rid of all the hype put into the ridiculous reality shows (come on, it's really getting out of hand here) and give the public something actually good to watch.
This is a very original show. I am tired of those boring shows that they always do but Wonderfalls has became my favourite. I don't watch tv so often but I love this show! Good job Fox, please don't change your mind :)
If you're not going to back the show or show the remaining episodes, at least consider putting it out on DVD.
You didn't back Firefly and look what happened with it.
i cant say how much i love your show. PLEESE bring back my favorite show . it will make all of us rest easier. and laugh more. I dont wnat to be watching reality shows anymore. they are dull and wonderfalls was a wonderful wake up from the usual FOX show
"Wonderfalls" at least deserves a chance to succeed. 4 episodes is not taking a chance, especially if you switched air dates with little publicity on the last episode.
Wonderfalls was the best show on television not called "Angel" (which has also been cancelled, btw). It may have terrible ratings, but it has a significant following of dedicated, loyal fans who would like to see all the episodes, as well as great critical reviews. If Twentieth Century Fox would release this series on DVD, the world be a much better, happier place, no kidding.
This is my favorite show! It is well written and funny and I look forward to it every week. Please allow this show to stay on and be known in the future as a classic show that people will remember - rather than a show that was cancelled too soon, making Fox execs look bad!
This is the most inventive, charming, and witty series I've seen in years. Give it the time for audiences to find it, FOX. Remember how long it took for "All in the Family" to succeed?
I love tuning in to this show each week to laugh and find out what the inanimate objects have to say. This is one of the most creative shows on television and I want it to go on for many seasons.
This may very well be the best show of the season. And with all the recent show cancellations, viwers need to be compensated with an awesome show like this. I watched it on Fridays, and I will continue to watch it on Thursdays for as long as it's on, but please let it be for a long time.
This show is honestly original and it makes me laugh harder than any other show that's on at the moment with the exception of Angel. I will do anything to keep this show going
This is the first TV show ever that made me follow its schedule so that I would not miss the next episode. That considering I don't watch a lot of TV to begin with. This show is the most stylish, fun and original I have seen. Please, keep it alive.
This show is great. It's funny, and *different*. It has such great stories that are interesting. Drama -but not too dramatic. I love the down to earth Jaye and her views that make her seem like "normal" people. Give the show more time. You can't take it off.
I love this show, smart humor, great cast, and did i say that it was funny as hell? Dont make the mistake of cancelling a great show like you did to Family Guy FOX!!!!
A really great fun show. I know the ratings say it's bad but considering it was in Fridays death spot and now going against CSI, most people miss it or just tape it to watch later (which of course doesn't factor into the ratings). Besides, those people with Nielsen boxes usually are morons.
This Wonderfalls show is something I would watch. This is so great and I want this show to continue forver. WB night shows are getting out of wack now and good thing I stumbled onto this show while I was changing the channel. The moment I watched Wonderfalls, it got me hooked! I can't wait for new episodes every week!
Wonderfalls is the best show on tv!!!! It's fabulous! My husband and I love it. I just wish I'd known it got moved from Friday April 2nd to Thursday April 1st beforehand!!
This show is so enjoyable, so of course it's probably doomed. I have lost more great shows this year - Boomtown, Karen Sisco etc. PLEASE GIVE WONDERFALLS THE CHANCE IT DESERVES!!!!!
Wonderfall's is a fun, exciting, different type of show! its interesting and if you give people time to get into the program than i'm sure you'll find that it's going to become a new hit tv show!
Great show - one of the freshest and funniest on the tube! The only TV show I watch outside of movies on TCM and Stargate SG-1. I wish Fox would stop switching the day it is aired so it can build an audience. I missed this week's episode because they switched the show to Thursdays!
I am only signing this because it is brand new show and it needs to sink in more before we can really tell if it is going to make it. Hopefully it will get better because so far I think it is one of the worst shows on the tube! sorry
This show is SO unique! So many shows have gone cancelled, and some I agreed on this desition. BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, BE SMART AND DON'T CANCEL THIS SHOW!!! The idea behind it is so inovative and fresh. Of the vast amount of TV I watch, this is one in FEW of the shows airing in Fox that I actually bother turning the channel to this station for. Don't let it die.
Love this show! However, I already missed part of one episode because I didnt' realize they moved it to Thursdays. Fox, please leave this show alone and let it build an audience!
Please save this show. With Angel and possibly Tru Calling going off the air, leaves onlouple decent shows on the air. T.V. stations need to give more than three episodes to build a crowd. People hear about the great shows from other people. You need to give more than a month at least a cmplete 22-episode season to build up the word of mouth crowd
An outstanding show, with some of the best one-liners this side of Wilde and Shaw. I think a print advertising campaign that focused on these one-liners would boost ratings.
An excellent show...while admittedly audiences need their fix of reality tv and soap-opera-esque drama on the occasion, we also need something new that is both fresh and funny. Wonderfalls has both of these qualities, and it will go far if it has the time.
Keep the show running! I will STOP watching TV altogether if this one gets canceled. THis is b/c this will be the FIFTH show I've started watching this season that gets yanked in the middle. Message to the network exec's - if you keep doing this to us you will find we won't even START to watch your shows anymore!!
Call Fox President Gail Berman and leave a message for her how much
you love Wonderfalls and asking Fox to support the show! The number
for Fox is 1-800-369-6848. To reach Gail Berman's office, dial
option 2, then 237626 then the # sign. (spell out Berman)
If you speak to her receptionist, be very polite and brief. Give
your name, demographics (age, gender) and say you would like Ms
Berman to give Wonderfalls more time. You could mention that
Wonderfalls fans are actively recruiting new viewers and Fox just
need to give Wonderfalls more time to build a fan base.
I want to stress: when you call, you're representing Wonderfalls
fans. Be brief and very polite. We want them to know we're
passionate about the show, not be annoyed.
WF is one of the few shows that puts a nice end to a tiring day of work.
It's refreshing funny and interesting.
To take it off the air would be to make the same mistake as when The Family Guy was canceled because of an inappropriate time slot and then sold thousands of dvds.
Give WonderFalls a chance, a real chance to be watched and appreciated as it sure will be if given time to develop.
Please keep it up !!!
WF is seamless... Well acted, directed, and especially well written. Fun special effects and original characters and plotlines. The perfect antidote to reality TV!
To imagine that a show as wonderfully written and acted would require petions and the like to remain on the airwaves while the likes of The Bachelor and other insipid reality drivel is depressing on so many levels. Please find a time slot in which this great show can shine and LET IT.
Congratultions to Minear and the entire cast on creating something grand.
It is a cute show. For 1 hour we are actually able to watch a show without sex, violence, bad language, etc. It is a one of a kind show that the entire family can actually watch without parents having to be concerned about what they are watching.
