"Wonderfalls" is one of the most original television concepts in years, and it needs to be given a fair chance. It doesn't help that the show was placed in two "death slots." Fox needs to stop showing "That 70s Show" five times a week and give "Wonderfalls" a chance to gain an audience.
Finally a creative and wonderfully insiteful and funny show and those idiots cancel it. No sense at all. If I remember correctly, MASH, Seinfeld and X-files ALL started out slow. I hope that some network with BRAINS realizes that this is a gem for the picking
This show is wicked smart. The characters are witty and entertaining to watch. The sarcastic humor keeps me watching. I love Jaye and Eric (together and seperately). Honestly, this has become my favorite show of all time...I think I might like it more than -gasp- Buffy. Fox needs to stop killing all the shows I love (Dark Angel, Undeclared, Boston Public....really, you're killing me Fox.) This show's only been on for a few weeks, give it a chance to find it's faithful followers. Oh, and Fox, here's an idea...stop giving time slots to bad reality shows and keep some programming with quality.
This show is fantastic and one of the most original I've seen in a long time. Caroline Dhavernas is an excellent actress. I've liked her work since the beginning, which was many years ago, and she's never disapointed me. So please, give this show and these actors a chance.
I think this show was amazing and was not given a fair chance to prove itself. Please give this show a better chance. Move it to a better time slot and day. Then you will really see this show flourish.
Are you afraid to give this fantastic show a change? We're already inundated by mindless reality television -- the last thing we need is to lose a smart, heartfelt show. If you give it a chance, like you did "Arrested Development," it'll develop a core audience. It worked for the WB and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," it can work for FOX. Please, oh please give it a chance.
The Wonderfalls has definitely lived up to its press. It is an original in a sea of derivative programming. The cast is wonderful. At least give the show a chance to develop an audience before canning it. We don't want another reality show!
I adore this show. I was hooked and a loyal viewer for all of the episodes that aired. Unfortunately I am not a Nielson viewer. I am in utter shock that it has been cancelled. I would pay lots of money to see the rest of the 13 episodes on DVD. Fox didn't give this show a chance!
This show is a great show! Why is it Fox keeps cancelling quality shows. It takes time to develop an audience, but Wonderfalls is one show that can prove the test of time! Please keep it around!!!!!
Wonderfalls is an amazing and captivating show. All the original shows are getting cancelled. Soon all that will be on TV will be crime and reality shows.
Please keep Wonderfalls on the air. There are very few shows that I really can't wait to check out, but this is the ONLY new show I picked up this year. With all the junk on TV, WF is one of the few surprises worth checking out. Please give this a better time slot and a promotional push and I'm sure you'll see it get the ratings it deserves. After Wonderfalls and last year's cancellation of Firefly, I don't think I'd be willing to check out Fox's next batch of shows if you're not going to give them a chance (or a decent timeslot) I couldn't bear to lose another great show too early. This reality tv fad is almost over, and you'll wish you had more clever shows like this still on the air. Please reconsider your decision.
Give Wonderfalls more time to find the larger audience -- this show is insightful, uinque, and "wonderfully" clever. It deserves a fair shot in a good time slot to cultivate what should be a large audience.
Wonderfalls is one of the best shows on television. IT's wickedly funny, charming, and sweet. I haven't like a new tv show in a long time because of the reality garbage that is put on now. Please don't cancel the show.
Please, I beg you. Don't cancel Wonderfalls. It is/was so enjoyable and such a pleasant change from the saturation of reality-TV. This show (and Angel) are the last remaining shows I watch. I expect studio execs the co.s behind the commercials find it easier to drain the $ rather than to encourage the mind. Shame on them.
great show! somebody's got to pick it up.
Joan of Arcadia isn't half as good and is kicking butt b/c the network is actually supporting a show. What a concept!
I am truly saddened by the cancellation of wonderfalls which i found to be outstanding. If the show can't be saved FOX you owe it to the fans to atleast put out a dvd set of the 13 episodes that were made.
This is an excellent show that I found by accident because I never saw it advertised (and I watch FOX a lot). The show deserves a chance. It is better than the non-reality shows that fill up the better time slots. If it's too late to save the show, at least show the other nine episodes that are already produced.
OMG... KEEP THIS SHOW! this show is probably my favorite show on the network to watch... how could u people want to take it off. oh.. and "diane made meh do this" yes... she owns me
This is a disgrace on Fox's part. I think you are ignoring your fans that like to think. You did the same thing to Keen Eddie, another show that wasn't given a fair shot at developing a larger fan base. These are the kind of shows that develop a sort of cult fan base that will take a part of a season to build but lasts for years. I know that you’ve heard of a little franchise called Star Trek, it was a short run show originally and rabid fans got together and made their voice heard, the studio got the nerve back up and now after several series and movies they have been around for 30+ years. I’m not willing to say that Wonderfalls would last for that amount of time but you never know, and the fact that you run a show that takes a few shows just to introduce it’s characters to us, the viewing and buying public, just to cancel it after four episodes, to me, is shameful. I should think that at least you might think about another time slot or the summer to air the show and give it that amount of time to get the show going. I know that this is a simple view of what to do with this show but if you look at the shows on cable like the Sopranos on HBO or even your cancelled Keen Eddie on Bravo, you’ll notice that people are willing to wait for shows to air and will stay loyal to the show. Please take another look at this show and give it a second shot for the long run.
Please reconsider.

This is one of those shows that have become SO refreshing because of all the reality shows that are taken over all the networks. We NEED shows like this... I swear I'll never watch TV again if they keep cancelling good, original shows that deserve more chance with the audience.
This make me so saaaaad!!!!
Note to network executives: Just say "No" to the liquid lunch, folks. It's making you stupid. Cancelling Wonderfalls would be a monumental mistake. I expect this kind of ham-handed decision from the likes of ABC and NBC, but I thought Fox was different. Someone's priorities are seriously skewed. If Wonderfalls goes, I go. Let your advertisers try to reach me when I don't tune in to your network any more! As far as I'm concerned, you have nothing else to offer.
I just started watching it and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I watch so little tv because of the inordinate amount of crap out there, this is one of the fuew shoes that's worth tuning in for.
Save Wonderfalls! With so much reality television, there are very few opportunities for creative, original shows to thrive. Give this one another chance!
I love this show and have been passing tapes around to show other people who now love it. If it could just have a good timeslot, it could be a huge hit!
Another wonderful show cancelled in haste by Fox :( Firefly, Keen Eddie, now Wonderfalls. What happened to the days of giving shows a chance? Fox wouldn't exist if they hadn't given a slumped show called X-Files a chance, and look what that did for them. How do they repay Chris Carter? Cancel his other stuff. Absolutely horrible. Reality television is a pox on humanity. Let it go. It's brainless and mediocre at best.
But alas, Fox things the nation can't comprehend anything beyond "When buildings catch on fire 4". Pathetic.
This show has barely been given a chance. I just got two more people hooked on it and now they are cancelling it? This cannot happen and should not happen. Why is the good tv always being taken away from the viewers?
I've suffered through all the crap on Fox, and now when there is finally a really good program, Fox is stupid enough to pull the plug after not giving it any kind of a chance (up against basketball is not a chance). I think Fox owes me.
Why, oh why would you cancel this show? It seems lately that if the plot isn't a poor guy pretending to be a rich guy to bang an airheaded chick, it's not worth watching...that's so wrong! This showw had wit, humour, likeable characters, and it was so quirky! You can't take it away before giving it chance! For goodness sake, it's only been 4 episodes, and you moved the night! People need to adjust! Apparently though, that's not quick enough for some networks....what happened to you, FOX? You used to care about the quality....:::sigh:::
This show was never even given a chance in its time slot and now it's being pulled too early. It gets really frustrating that all the quality programming on television with fantastic writing and acting is never even given a chance to build their audience.
Wonderfalls was the sleeper hit of Fox. Shame on the suits at Fox to dump it without giving the show proper marketing and support. The characters and actors/actresses were bright and intriguing. A viewer thesedays has to flip through a variety of reality shows to find a quality-filled show with smart dialogue. I can only hope that there are more intelligent people in the meeting rooms of UPN or WB or ANY other channel that will swoop in and pick this show up. Not only does this show need a network to pick it up, but it deserves an apology from Fox for dumping it in the first place. After it is picked up, the suits at Fox will be kicking themselves relentlessly for dropping it. Caroline Dhavernas as Jaye is refreshing, charsmatic and the very least, intriguing. Who else can convince you that talking monkeys and pink flamingoes actually offer wisdom? Not to mention the cool, slightly smushed lion. Bottom line, Jaye spoke for countless 20 soemthings that did not want to live in a trendy building with Friends. Jaye did not want anything more than to be loved on an equal basis. Right next to her closet lesbian sister and slacker-in-hiding brother who studied theology because he figured everyone else had already done the research for him. Bring back WONDERFALLS or at the very least, fire the dumdums who axed it. My20cents anyway.
I've never signed a petition for a show to stay on the air before, but this one was never even given a chance. Wonderfalls is so great on so many levels, I don't understand why fox is pulling the plug so quickly. Please reconsider. Thanks.
I can't believe that a quality show like Wonderfalls is being cancelled after so few airings. If Fox ever wants to be taken seriously as a network, maybe it should put more effort into developing and slowly growing shows like Wonderfalls instead of filling it's schedule with silly throwaway reality programming like "Obnoxious Fiance" and "Forever Eden."
i love this show! it's been awhile since i had a reason to tune into friday night television. i just love the insane quality that makes this show so original and entertaining. the actors are amazing, especially the lead. she is absolutly charming and gifted. please don't cancel a show that hasn't been out for very long! give it a chance, for the love of people needing originality, smart, and damn funny t.v! what is wrong with american audiences who are craving reality television or plain dumb comedy. it's stupid and pointless. it's all about the money, but for me an others, it's about the quality and entertainment. so hell yes to wonderfalls. give something to the kids, the younger audiences. after all, we are the ones who are more open minded to veiw this program as something special. don't take that away, because then we are left with trash. I LOVE WONDERFALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I liked the premise of the show upon first reading about it. Then when I watched the first episode I knew "Wonderfalls" was definitely a show for me. However, I feared all along about getting too attached to the show and its characters. It's a sad state of affairs when a show that is written with such wit doesn't even have a shot at lasting a full season. I certainly hope that FOX will reconsider their decision and air the remaining episodes.
Props go out to Nick Digilio, WGN-AM radio, and all the Chicagoans who appreciate intelligent writing acting...and who don't care to settle for the lowest common denominator programming that we’re fed these days!
I only saw the show once but was sufficiently impressed to want to see more. How sad a state TV is obviously in today when reality shows thrive while quality shows dive. Seriously, something MUST be done.
At least air the remaining episodes. How can a show be judged this quickly?
There are a few intelligent people out there who can only handle so much reality TV.
Please don't cancel or dumb down any more television shows. Some of us like using our brains. If I wanted to kick back and watch a reality show, I would take a chair and go set it up outside my house. Wonderfalls is good classic-requires the suspension of disbelief television and I love it!
Are you kidding? One month airing on a bad night, move it to another night for a week (so that fans, like me, miss it) and then cancel it? Let's be honest here - did FOX even *want* this show to succeed? Or was this always intended to be a 13-episode DVD set? Which, by the way, I would buy. I have a growing collection of cancelled FOX shows on my shelves. As usual, solid, intelligent, entertaining writing has lost out to pitiful reality-TV drivel. Lowest common denominator, folks.
This is one of the best, most intelligent shows to come out this year. It is my sincere hope that some network, somewhere, will give this another chance. And if it isn't FOX, all the better. Am I becoming bitter? You bet. They've proven over and over again that they don't deserve something this original and good. I can only hope it finds a home on another network.
Fox, Please reconsider. GIVE THIS SHOW A CHANCE to find its audience. I fell in love with the first episode. It cannot leave so fast. :(
PLEASE RECONSIDER!!!
Wonderfalls is a brilliant, brilliant show that has been buried in an impossible timeslot. How is a new show going to compete with CSI and ER? That's just crazy.
Wonderfalls is a wonderful show. I can't believe it isn't being given a fair chance to succeed. I'm getting so sick of networks dropping good shows because they start a bit slow. TV execs need to stop moving shows around so much and give them a chance before they rush to cancel them.
I just discovered Wonderfalls and have seen 2 episodes, and would gladly see many more. Cancelling this show before it can build an audience seems folly. Please bring it back!
this show is not only very funny, it is also extremely unique and much better than most of the other garbage currently on television. ... don't pull another family guy or keen eddie Fox
