This is the only show in years that was worth watching for me on Friday night. When it moved to Thursday, I picked it over CSI. This is my favorite show of the season.
And you wonder why the American public retreats to cable and the prmium channels for quality TV. Wonderfalls was wonderful in all aspects - quality, originalty, and characters - but the ratings. Please save Wonderfalls. Smart shows have no future on network TV and neither do I.
Its sad that after only a few eps this show was cancelled. It was funny, witty and intelligent. Unlike all the reality shows out there. Cmon UPN or WB pick it up!!!!
Why does Fox bother with anything that isn't a reality show? They refused to give a chance to The Tick, Firefly, and now they cancel the best thing on TV. IDIOTS!
Wonderfalls - one of the best shows that have come out in a long time and needs a chance - reality shows are no t what I want to watch I want to watch Wonderfalls!!!!!!!!!
By cancelling this show without giving it a chance to gain viewers and even more acclaim, you have proved to me that quality television has a snowball's chance in hell of remaining on the air. Save this show, and gain a little bit of respect.
I have dropped so many shows lately because the quality has fallen. But I love Wonderfalls! It is such a quirky and unique show and the writing is aboveboard. Please give this show a shot.
You can't expect a show as witty and clever as Wonderfalls to deliver after only four episodes. And with a Friday night timeslot to boot. They seem to have gotten what I like to refer to as, "The 'Firefly' Shaft"!!!
First Angel and now Wonderfalls. Why cancel creative, entertaining shows for so called "reality" programming! Give this show a better time slot (& Tru Calling while you're at it) and you'll have a hit!!! With networks cancelling quality shows for junk those of us with imagination and brains will all be watching cable shows all the time! SAVE WONDERFALLS!
I'm from Québec and I started watching this show because Caroline Dhavernas is also from Québec. But, as it turned out, the show was incredibly good. She and the rest of the cast do a great job. The story and the way it's shown are really original. I was really disappointed to learn it was cancelled because I couldn't wait to see the story evolve. I may not be American, but I was still part of the show's audience. Please keep it alive!!
Please give this show another chance for success! With so many great old shows ending, and all the awful reality TV shows on, the public needs another great scripted show to root for. But Friday nights are not the place to find an audience. If you move the show to the weekdays, not Thursdays, people will watch.
I recently stated watching the show and started to TIVO as the time slot it was in was awful! give it a better time slot so that people have a CHANCE to actually watch it. geez, another creative show bites the dust to make room for another lobotomy project.
Please put this great show in a better time slot. All good shows take time to find a loyal audience. Stop taking the good shows off and leaving the junk.
Please remove this show from the air, as you remove all quality shows, so that your silly short-sighted network will hasten its eventual demise.
Please take the time to create 14 spin offs of American Idol, as well.
Hasn't Fox already gotten their bank role with American Idol? You'd think that the network that used to take chances on such great shows as the X-Files, would give another original a chance. Shame on Fox for only caring about the almighty buck and not the viewer.
The joke in my house is that if I watch a show and love it, it goes off of the air. I would like to break my record as see Wonderfalls come back onto TV. It is a smart a funny show that deserves more of a chance to prove itself! PLEASE! PLEASE!
Unfortunately in this day and age, some people would rather watch trash than quality television. Let's not encourage that - let's stand up for a good show!! Save Wonderfalls!
I just started watching this show last week and now it is gone? This is ridiculous. Leave it to Fox to take off a brilliant and imaginative show to leave room for another craptastic reality show. The truth is--some people actually LIKE original shows. Get a clue, Fox.
This is one of the few great shows on television. To only air 3 episodes and then decide to cancel the show doesn't give it a chance! How can you cancel a show that people haven't even had an opportunity to get interested in. If you would just show the remainder of the episodes, in order, in a decent time slot, I'd be willing to bet it would become a hit show. In the past shows like X-Files were given a season to warm up to the concept and the audience. It's the only way to truly find out if a show will work or not.
When are networks going to start taking a chance with quality shows and allowing them to grow a fanbase? This is a show that should be on the air SOMEWHERE--shame on Fox for disappointing fans yet again (anyone remember Andy Richter?)
one of the few truly unique shows on tv...or at least it was. try and not let another great one fall by the wayside. give the people their wonderfalls!
If you think people won't stop watching TV altogether because there's nothing but crap on, you're wrong.
Do you think males 18-34 care who wins the umpteenth reality dating show?
I love this show!! They just need to put it on a different night!! after all the reality stuff that's out there, it was a relief to see a show like this one again!! Please save Wonderfalls!!
This has been a sad year for me TV-wise knowing that 3 of my favorite shows were ending: Sex and The City, Friends, and most recently Angel. My one silver lining has been my new favorite show, Wonderfalls. It's clever, intelligent, funny, and the most originally entertaining show out there. Please do not let it end so soon!!
This was one of the best shows on television and you never gave it a chance. You put it on at the worst times on your schedule and only aired a few episodes. Bring it back in a better time slot PLEASE!
This cancellation is another blow against good television. Well written, well acted and just generally sound programming. So many shows out there that deserve to be cancelled; leave this one be...
Fox. My love affair with your network was rekindled this season when you brought us The O.C. It continued when you brought Oliver Beene back, burned brighter when Cracking Up premiered, and warmed my heart after the first episode of Wonderfalls. Now it's almost all over. You're going down the same path as NBC. Don't be like them, have faith in your new shows, the different shows. Your viewers will thank you.
Best show to come around in a long time. Clever, endearing, and extremely well written and acted. Joan of Arcadia for those of us who'd rather not be touched by an angel. And to think the fourth episode was the funniest one to date. If it had aired as the second episode as originally planned, I wonder if the ratings would have been such an issue.
Wonderfalls was one of the few interesting shows on any network, and most of the people I know were as into it as I was...not that Fox and the WB really care! Never mind watching crap tv...we're all going to start reading and using our dvd players, and forgetting about junk tv. Reality shows are going to go the way of who wants to be a millionaire, and I for one will cheer its passing.
Remember, shows like Seinfeld did not do well in the first season. This is yet another foolish mistake akin to the cancelling of Freaks and Geeks or Family Guy. The subsequent network realization that there is a huge fan base and big potential DVD sales comes too late. Neilsons arent everything. Give a show a chance.
