Well. Now I'm down to exactly 2 shows on Fox that I take the time to watch weekly. ("70's Show" and "Arrested Development"). You guys aren't doing much to keep me around...
Wonderfalls is a great show with a great premise. It needs more of a chance, than the 4 weeks Fox has given it. Maybe Fox should run the remaining episodes in the summer to see if it could gain an audience. This concept worked for Beverly Hills 90210 and The O.C.
Wonderfalls is an amusing show. Of course it's ratings won't do well when pitted against CSI and The Apprentice.
Don't be a moron and let the show go becuase of bad management.
Maybe the WB or UPN will get ahold of it and make a move on FOX's programming share.
Fox continues to prove what a joke it is. They continue to leave Tru Calling and all sorts of reality crap on the air, but pull a show that has real potential to be the best of this year. Hopefully the WB has the peace of mind to pick it up. But they don't have the peace of mind to keep Angel so my hopes aren't high.
I was really excited by this show. As someone who works in the industry, it was great to see a show with sharp, insightful wit in the writing. Please FOX, don't give up yet. Wonderfalls is a special show, and deserves better treatment.
Don't get rid of wonderfalls. i look forward to that show. It has only had 4 episodes and I am really looking forward to seeing more, It would be disappointing to get rid of such a well written show!!
I really liked this show, and I believe given a chance, it would have captured fans. But instead of investing in a show that would capture a steady audience for a long run, you invest only in sparkle and fade cruddy reality television. Please WB or UPN give Wonderfalls a chance, it really is something different and wonderful.
How can you cancel a show that never had a chance to find an audience? Moving it opposite shows like The Apprentice and CSI practically guaranteed this clever show's demise. Please give it another chance.
Without Wonderfalls, I have no real reason to watch FOX now, or a vast majority of the other networks. This is what happens when you get invested in a show where someone isn't 'voted off' at the end of every episode, or someone isn't undergoing plastic surgery to look like the next Britney Spears. Quality television is all but dead in this day and age, where the networks assume that most viewers like to have the same thing shoved down their throats in a different format. Look how many non-reality shows are being cancelled this season, versus how many reality shows. That should tell you the truth in what they're willing to back, and just how stupid that the networks think that the audience really is. You can't gain an audience big enough to 'satisfy the numbers' after only five shows, everyone knows that, and it's a pity that FOX is turning a blind eye so that they can spend more money on shows that are just plain terrible.
All the good ones get canceled. We are forced to watch Woopie, American Idol, or Fear Factor. Come on, what have we become. Save Wonderfalls - hug a small knick-knack.
This show was so intelligent - why take it off? Please give us at least one show to look forward to! I'm sick of reality TV and all the other fluff crap that's out there. For once, cater to your intelligent audience - you have enough shows to entertain teenage America.
This is one of the best shows on television, please give it a decent time slot and a chance, and stop insulting your viewers with mindless reality nonsense. I, for one, even stopped watching CSI for this show. Thank you.
Typical of FOX to cancel anything that doesn't have the words "American" or "Idol" in it. This is exactly why FOX will always be the third place network.
Fox needs to give shows a chance and not just cancel them after a short time in bad time slots.
And yet they keep shows like Playing it Straight around.
This show was great...entertaining. Instead of getting rid of the show they need to get rid of the suits that made the lousy decision to get rid of it.
Typical. The network gave no time for an audience to find this unique show before they pull it. Somebody in Fox programming must have the guts to fight for it until it catches on.
If Fox doesn't bring this back, it's the last new show on Fox I will ever watch. I'm tired of being jerked around when they pull every good piece of programming without giving it a chance.
Sometimes I wonder if the people that make these decisions even watch TV. Seinfeld and Friends wouldn't have stood a chance in this climate. They both started off poorly but we see what happened with them.
First intelligently written show in a LONG while, it's NOT reality TV crap, and you can actually have a good chuckle. Give it a good night and more of a chance!
Why doesn't it get the ratings? Umm, no advertising, crappy time slots, and it was put up against the "popular" shows. It's a great show, and should be given a chance.
Give it a chance! I love it! Especially since I'm a recent college graduate working retail and living in a crap house in the city. I feel her pain! Didn't Party of Five take a year of so to gain an audience? And look how well it did!
Come on, Fox, do the right thing. Do the fair and balanced thing. You can't hide a fabulous show away like this where only the truly dedicated will find it, and then punish the loyal viewers by ripping it from the screen. C'mon, Fox! You haven't even TRIED yet!
This is truly one of the best shows I've seen in a long time. I just don't understand how reality crap can be kept on the air, and quality entertainment like "Wonderfalls" cancelled!
Good job, FOX. The marketing genius who decided to air this against "The Apprentice" and "CSI" should be standing in the same unemployment line as the network executive that decided that a show that couldn't develop an audience after four episodes in a ever-changing time slot needed to be cancelled for more lame-ass reality programming where midgets undergo cosmetic surgery on tropical islands with fake spouses. Good on ya, you sorry Australian morons.
Come on now, ever good show you guys do gets canceled because you stick it in a crappy time slot. Give the good shows good times and more people will watch. remember Freaky Links? Save Wonderfalls!!!!!!
