Wonderfalls is a witty, snarky & fun show, and it was truly a gem amongst some other less-than-stellar programming that's come out lately... please consider giving it another chance, because everyone I know who's watched even one episode has simply adored it, myself included.
This show is too good to let go and has hardly been given a chance, airing only, what, 3 or 4 times? Give it a time slot with a chance (nobody's home on a Friday night), don't move it around so people can find the show and it will be a hit! Please don't kill one of my new favorite shows.
Please give Wonderfalls a chance, it's one of the best shows. The witty, intelligent dialouge is a refreshing change from most network television. Please save it!
Friday at 9 and then Thursday at 9, are you frickin' kidding me?!?! The show deserves a legitimate spot in a decent time slot. Look at how many critics loved the show. GIVE IT A CHANCE!
Wonderfalls is an original show, a very unusual thing on network tv these. Give it a decent time slot and try actually advertising it. I missed the last episode because I didn't know it had moved to thursday and my on-screen tv guide still said it was on friday. Give it some time to find an audience. Every show can't be an instant ratings success.
Fresh and Funny. By far one of the best things on the air this season. I wonder why we support horrible programming and punish anything new and inventive.
this is the first new show in the past few seasons that I make a concerted effort to catch...I was so disappointed (but not surprised) to read it had been cancelled....I hope that FOX at least agrees to put out all 13 episodes on DVD -- I know I will be one of the first to buy it!
Funny, inventive, and with last-minute twists that aren't what we viewers usually see on network TV, Woonderfalls was a biting mouthful of fresh air. Just this past week, I even snared another viewer who also admired the crisp dialogue and quirky premise.
If you already have 14 episodes produced, why not share them with these would-be grateful viewers? Save us from Forever Eden and give us the creative Wonderfalls!
C'mon, Fox. Do we really need another hour of World's Craziest Police Chases? Quit cancelling quality televsion and give 'em a chance to find an audience!
Wonderfalls was one of the best shows fox has created in a LONG time, and I am etremely dissapointed to see it gone so soon. If they ever gave it a real chance, it would have gotten great ratings. The only reason it failed was that fox sabotaged it from the start (hint to fox programmers: a show geared towards the 18-30 crowd is going to fail miserably at 9pm on friday no matter how good it is).
With all the crap shows that FOX is keeping on the air, why is THIS great one being taken canceled before the season is even over? It is refreshing, funny, and unique. FOX set it up to fail. They need to give it a new time slot and let it find its audience.
Why??? What is with Fox and its obsessive and perverse need to cancel shows?? Bring it back... one of the few viable alternatives to the never ending crap that is realiy tv.
This is the best show that has premiered in 2004; the writing is solid and the cast is amazingly talented. With Fox not giving it a lively timeslot or the press it needed, I believe that it should be picked up on another network and given a respectable timeslot. Don't let quality television get shoved to the side like this.
It's incredibly frustrating that well-written, intelligent television shows struggle, while pabulum like "Forever Eden" lives on. These shows deserve marketing, support and decent time slots from their networks. Reducing television shows to society's lowest common denominator is insulting to all of us.
If Fox gets rid of their funny and original shows, all they'll be left with are the bad reality shows. (Frankly, the idea of the Swan makes me sick to my stomach.) Wonderfalls is a really good show and should be given a chance, and not moved around so people can't find it.
It's a shame to see such a fun, creative and quirky show ripped away from us. I was really excited to see more. Bring it back at a decent time slot and it will do awesome!
This is a good show that had the potential to be great - if the network had just given it a chance to find an audience. Please, please say 'yes' to quality scripted programing. Not everyone is on board the reality train.
FOX seems to have this annoying habit of bringing out quality shows (Fast Eddie, Firefly, Dark Angel), getting twitchy with their timeslot then dumping them all-together. Wonderfalls is a great show and I didn't miss an episode.
I was hoping this show might fill some of the void left by NBC apparently canceling "Ed." It's so rare for a unique show with good writing to come along. Four episodes--what kind of chance is that?
It honestly makes no sense for the Fox network, a company that seemmingly used to pride itself on cutting edge shows (24, The X-Files, etc.) would not even give this show a decent shot.
Putting the show first on Fridays was a suspect move, but then, upon seeing such low ratings, you move it to Thursdays against CSI and The Apprentice?? Where's the logic in that?
Instead of throwing a brilliant piece of honest, heartfelt, beautiful television out the door, why not give it a chance? Or better yet, let the creators take it somewhere else, where it willl be appreciated!
"Maybe she's a lazy whore." Is that writing or what? Goth Pimps, Christmas and Easter Jews???? This show was excellent. Friday at nine was perfect for me because it followed another great show "joan of arcadia". This show is smart, hilarious, and a breath of fresh air in the wasteland of reality t.v. shows!
This is a great show; it is different from all the mundane shows on television right now about the bland personalities and more bland predictable plotlines.
This is ridiculous why is Fox so impatient with their shows. I am very disappointed that they will remove their original ideas to replace them with copies of other networks snores (i.e. the swan, Paradise Hotel, and their newest rip-off of the Apprentice). I have lost all respect for Fox. I mean look at Firefly, taking i off was one of their biggest mistakes.
A Great Show. Unfortunately I saw this coming with the ugly 9pm/ Friday timeslot. A shame that all FOX tends to keep are ridiculous and predictable reality shows. If we want to keep shows like this, Andy Richter, and Undeclared (all 3 of which were not given a fighting chance. The general public has to stop watching reality TV.
Wonderfalls is such a funny, creative, insightful show! FOX needs to give programs more time to attract viewers. They can't keep expecting every show to be an immediate ratings hit.
It may not be the kind of mainstream, dumbed-down show that can bring in fast cash, but Wonderfalls attracts the kind of loyal viewers that most shows won't. Cancelling Wonderfalls would turn out to be a bad decision in the long-run. I love this show and I don't want to see it go.
This is quality television. Something that requires imagination and creativity, unlike most of those lame reality shows ruling the airwaves.
Just another reason to watch DVD and skip network TV.
I'm in love with this show! It's such a wonderful show! So much better than all of the poor quality reality shows that people seem to love to watch. Fox shouldn't have given up so quickly on this show. Many of the greatest television shows of all times didn't get great ratings in their season. Fox aired 4 episodes!!! That's it!!! Come on! This show is great and I love it, I hope UPN and The WB will be smarter and try to give the wonderful Wonderfalls a chance.
This show is great. The actors & writers do an excellent job with the characters. Please give it another chance. It deserves better than to be tossed aside so quickly.
I really like this show and am writing a couple of spec scripts for it. I can't believe fox is falling in its old routine of put on a show, move its time slot, and then cancel it cause no one can find it but please, let's keep the show about midget weddings on.
Fox needs to show a little patience (like the WB w/ One Tree Hill) and stop pulling shows after only limited airings (Skin, etc). Give it a better time slot!
This show deserves a chance to gain a following. I'm tired of the horrible programming decisions being made these days. Why is intelligent programming being cancelled over stupid reality shows?
