I was loving this show, and they never even gave it a chance, putting it on Friday nights at 9, and even jostling it's time slot around. Boo! Save Wonderfalls!
"Wonderfalls" is the best show to come around in years. The cast is fresh, funny and smart, and the writing is superb. Please don't cancel this show!!!
Thursday & Friday nights at FOX are death sentances to any new show.
If anyone of importance was behind this show, it should have aired after Idol.
This reality show fad has got to nd soon.
We need shows like "Wonderfalls"!
This is a very smart and funny show. Shame on FOX for underestimating the intelligence of its viewership and for not allowing the show a chance to build up an audience. Shame!!
This is one of the best shows FOX can ever have. It'll be a bad idea to give up on it so soon. GIVE IT A CHANCE! Get rid of your stupid reality shows that aren't any good and bring back entertaining shows, like WONDERFALLS!
Finally a wonderful show comes on Fox with wit, brains and charm. Of course I knew once I started to like it it was the kiss of death. Come on...you put a new shows 4th episode against CSI for crying out loud? If that isn't the kiss of death I don't know what is. Of course it didn't get the ratings they wanted it to. Sounds like sabotage to me. Please put Wonderfalls on a network that cares about its shows. And don't een get me started on Tru Calling being on at the same time as Survivor...
This is a wondeful show that, given the opportunity to grow, would be a true gem on network television. Need I remind everyone that even hits like M*A*S*H and The X-Files need more than one season to hit their blockbuster stride. Please give Wonderfalls the chance it deserves.
For years, I've been thinking that the so-called "dumbing down" of America was a myth. But now, after three shows I consider highly intelligent have been cancelled (Firefly, Angel and Wonderfalls), I'm starting to think that being smart in this country is not something that is celebrated, but quite the opposite. It seems being stupid and sophomoric and submitting yourself to the humiliation of a so-called reality show is what's celebrated in this country. Thank goodness I can still use my TV to watch DVDs.
Give it chance already! Only four epsiodes and cancelled? What's up with that. THis is a great, different, creative show that deserves a better chance.
Can you do a dating show where Monica Lewinsky is the host and all the contestants are midgets wearing masks and pretending to be millionaires, then get plastic surgery to be taller and then we put them on a farm and have them sing with Paris Hilton? Eh, they'd just cancel it anyway.
As one of the greatest shows that's on tv right now, there was really no reason to take it off the air so early in its showing. It's something that's different and that's what attracts people. Please reconsider this program.
I was so disenchanted with television and it's over abundance of "reality" shows that I found Wonderfalls a refreshing if quirky change of pace. Why must you get rid of the good ones?
Wonderfalls is one of the best new shows this year. It is a quirky dramedy with smart situations and dialog. I have even taped and watched episodes twice to make sure not to miss anything.
Fox has no clue what good TV is. Caroline D. will be a big star and Fox is stupid enough to let her go unnoticed. She'll come around and bite em in the ass.
This was one of the greatest shows on television. Why couldn't you give it a chance FOX? Don't you realize you are losing fans becuase of the great, quality shows you keep canceling? EVERYBODY HATES YOU NOW!
Dear Fox,
I like Wonderfalls a lot, and that's one of the reasons why the show's cancellation was no suprise to me. Everytime I like a new sitcom or drama that Fox puts on television, I always worry that it will be cancelled. This happened with Titus, John Doe, Futurama, and Family Guy.
Please restore my faith in the Fox television network and bring back Wonderfalls. If you insist on not renewing it, at least let the show air all thirteen episodes before you make that decision. How can you cancel a show when people have barely had time to become aware of it and watch it?
Dear Fox,
Please give this show another chance. After the 1st episode, it was my new favorite. Original, hilarious, and strange - what happened to the Fox that took a risk on a certain Yellow Family that is still thriving after 13 years??
Why is it that they can take a chance on Married with Children and not a creative, vibrant, uplifting show like this. Great writing, great imagination and god forbid Different from anything else they're offering.
Wonderfalls is phenomenal! It's just like FOX to cancel a show this good (see also Firefly and Keen Eddie). Honestly, if the FOX execs could pull their heads out of their asses to watch Wonderfalls, they'd see how great it is.
I love this show. It is really wierd so it may have turned off viewers for a bit. But give it a chance and it will definitly convert the American public.
Please don' cancel this show. It was one of the few really good show on right now. To cancel it should be a crime. Please please please any other network pick this show up. It would be worth it to you.
Wonderfalls is a refreshing change from the reality tv that is everywhere. Wonderfalls is original, creative and fun. It is the best thing I have ever seen!!!
I can't believe that Fox will promote horribly degrading show like "The Swan" and in the same breath cancel a unique, clever show like "Wonderfalls."And I was just starting to tell all of my friends and family about it. Give shows a chance to make their mark and viewers will tune in. Stop catering to the lowest common denominator!
I'm just at a loss for words that this show has been cancelled already!! What happened to quality shows getting a chance!?! They could have at least given it an entire season to catch on...I'm so disappointed FOX!
This is a great show and it needs to come back. On Fox you have all the reality show like Forever Eden...( who watches thats? ...no one..yet its still on....?)
All I got to say is that this show better come back cause its a shame losing good quality shows. And this is one of the Funniest show on and...again I love it and I want it back!! And as you can see everyone does too!!
This is a wonderful show. Clever, interesting and witty. 4 episodes is simply not enough to make a decision. Plus, they moved it to a different night! Where did all the good shows go? FOX cancelled them! FOX needs a refresher in what good tv really is.
Fox,
Why did you take a risk with such a well-written, albeit non-mainstream show, only to follow with the knee-jerk reaction of cancelling it after 4 episodes? Here's to you missing out on a horde of viewers...
No thanks,
Abhishek
Wonderfalls is one of the best shows on television. Simlar to Gilmore Girls and Scrubs it is a sophisticated comedy. Maybe the WB should pick it up. It's obvious that FOX only cares about American Idol and other dumb reality shows. This show wasn't even given a chance
Reality Tv is a kick in the ass. And so is the fox president. He put it up against CSI and The apprentace. Have it come on every sunday, and replace the one of the Simpson's slots!
You axed this fantastic hour of programming for ANOTHER "reality" show filled with horny 20 somethings crying and pulling each other's hair for 6 weeks?
Come to your senses and bring Wonderfalls back.
Cheers, Seinfeld, and 90210 (to name a few) were all shows that had low ratings at the beginning but went on to become successful. Whatever happened to giving a show a chance to catch on and build an audience? Wonderfalls is a funny and clever show, I am very disappointed that it is being cancelled.
What did you expect, FOX? You put the show on Friday nights. How do you expect a show to gain a following when you debut it the "kiss of death" timeslot?
Maybe if the FOX network spent more time trying to nurture truly good shows a fan base would start to develop.
Nobody wants to see another stupid reality show about fat, obnoxious fiances or gold-digging women who have no idea they're on a TV show.
Please bring back Wonderfalls, it was one of the few shows I tuned into the FOX network to see.
