THERE IS NO REAL REASON TO KILL THE SEALS OTHER THAN GREED COME ON CANADA, DO THE RIGHT THING RESPECT THE PEOPLES WISHES AND STOP KILLING THESE ANIMALS. YOUR COUNTRY HAS BEEN BLESSED BY THESE WONDERFULL CREATURES. YOU SHOULD BE THANKFUL THEY CHOSE YOUR COUNTRY NOT REPAY THEM BY MURDERING THEIR YOUNG!!
Instead of killing these beautiful, innocent babies for a couple of bucks each, Canada needs to learn how to use the seals to build a tourism industry, just as was done with whales. The fishermen earn less than 5% of their income from slaughtering those beautiful baby seals. Canada disgusts me!

I live in Canada and with all the e-mails, calls, faxes, and petitions this still goes on!! This hunt is only for money and nothing else. This needs to end!!

I want the seal hunts to stop in Canada. It is cruel and barbaric how these little babies are killed and left to die. They suffer terrible pain, for not one good reason.
