Bring back The Simpsons.

The Simpsons has been a television show that has been broadcast on Ten for almost 2 decades. Every night at 6:00pm, people all over Australia would turn on the T.V. to be entertained by the fun yellow family. Occasionally, in the summer-time, the show would be stopped for another show, such as Everybody Loves Raymond, or Sabrina the Teenage Witch, but now, Network Ten's contract to The Simpsons is almost over - infact, now they only show it on Sundays, and they are even only repeats. At 6pm right now is Friends. Friends, in my opinion, is an alright show, but why replace it with a show that has been on Ten for almost 2 decades NON-STOP! Now, I can put up with this, just, as I have many Simpsons DVD's, but what about the new episodes? Since Ten's contract is almost over, Australians with Free TV will miss out on these episodes, and piracy may become even more common.

Recently, I purchased a DVD ("The Simpsons Movie"). On this, there was even an advertisement at the start, which would cost alot to put on a DVD. The commerical was for Network Ten claiming that "Ten is the place to find new Simpsons!" That is obviously FALSE, as Ten is trying to slowly kill The Simpsons of their channel.

If The Simpsons do not get renewed, another channel will buy the rights to them ("Seven", or "Nine/WIN" in particular) so Ten will loose many views, and possibly money.

Ten without The Simpsons just doesn't seem like Ten to me.

Please renew the contract.
