Dear Reggie Fils-Aime,

As President of marketing for Nintendo of America, I strongly urge you to rename The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Because the term 'princess' has a deep rooted history with Barbie dolls in America, I believe that it would be in Nintendo's greatest interest to retitle this game. In fact the moment that this title was relealed all I could think about was Barbie. It is in my understanding that it is in your power to rename any title for its American release, as had been done for 'A Link to the Past' (formerly 'Triforce of the Gods'). I remember a while back in a video interview that you took part in, you stated your goal as President of Marketing that you wanted to make Nintendo kickass again, but unfortunately 'Twilight Princess' cant be further from kickass. I do not see myself or my peers at school talking about how cool 'Twilight Princess' is, as they currently do with Halo and Grand Theft Auto. In fact, I have heard stories of people already beeing mocked, laughed at, and ridiculed for showing interest in a game with such a "childish" or "girly" title. Already, fans of Zelda on every website in the internet are showing their uneasyness towards this title. When Twilight Princess was only rumored as the title for the upcoming Zelda game, many people laughed at it saying things to the extent of "Nintendo would never use such a stupid title for this game!". I am writing to you as a 16 year old fan, as a fan who has bought the Nintendo DS and is eagerly awaiting the release of the Nintendo Revolution. I know that you will make the right choice by renaming this game.
