I support this petition. This is the best place in Memphis. We have NOTHING to do here. That was basically the best thing to do besides the regular movies and skating. There needs to be WAY more people signing this. What else is there to do for teenagers in Memphis??
I support this petition. A roller coaster and a great amusement park can be a great way to bring a city together and increase revenue to the area. Libertyland needs to be seen as a wonderful way for residents to relax, and the Pippin should be seen as a historical object- because it is!
I support this petition. I am 47 and I grew up atJoyland since I was 4years old I have a picture of me with Clowns at the Cardwell picnic they use to have there
Roller coasters have a true history behind each and every single one of them. This one is no exception. Because of the historical value that is behind this roller coaster, especially ties with Elvis Preseley, helps make this wooden roller coaster a true coaster to keep. Also, it is the second oldest roller coaster still standing-- that factor alone gives this wooden coaster a priority to save for generations to possibly ride in the future. Zippin Pippin is in the ranks with Leap the Dips (Lakemont Park in Pennsylvania), which is the oldest roller coaster still standing since it was built in 1902. For historical significance and coaster enthusiasts alike, please save the Zippin Pippin!
