I support this petition. This is a deal breaker for me. I\'m a future med student and I need apps such as epocrates and medical calculators on my zunes. I refuse to carry around 2 different devices when the Ipod touch can do it all. Get 3rd party app support and i\'ll gladly buy a zune hd.

I support this petition, Microsoft, please let there be a third Party app store open, even though you say you only focus on music, you should consider also taking APPS in to mind, not only for extra customers, but also more loyal people who will proudly say, I own a Zune and i am proud of it. and for once you stand a chance against Apple\'s IPOD. and furthermore, if we let Third party developers make these apps, alot of the zune hd\'s and other zunes capabilities will truly be uncovered, which means it allows new options to be added to the Zune. So please microsoft consider in taking this small step, which in the near future, if you make this choice, could expand the posibilities of future technology. Thank you for your time
