I Agree with Okami that this is all bull and why would Bush even know or bother trying to ban anime? But on that same note; we have to watch out because as anime is rising in popularity and more and more of the 'average person' knows more people are wanting to put a stop to it. Many people are still in their own little world that belive that 'cartoons', which most people referee to anime as, are only meant for children. So when anime like; Elfin Lied, Evangalion, Ninja Scroll and other violent / bloody or over all Mature anime are released evey one freaks out. With all rising Fad and Fandoms there will be people who oppose it, no matter what. From people like 'Hanna' a few post down to churches to over protective parents and TV stations we have to stick by it. I Agree with mitchell 100%. Thou Max also makes some good points. this kid of Censorship HAS TO STOP! is the game / anime / Song/ movie was made to have sex / blood and/or violence and you are to young or to 'innoncent' then don't play it. if you dont like Violence then don't play fighting games. if you dont like swearing, then don't listen to eminem. I believe that if they don’t want to show the anime as is was originally intended to be viewed then they shouldn’t put it on TV for younger kids to watch. PLEASE STOP THE DESTUCTION OF ANIME! If something was made to have: nudity, sexual references, blood, violence, death. homosexuality, or even just offence scenes, then do was they do for ‘regular’ TV and put it on at a later time.
