You all are idiots. First of all, yes, Goth is a trend, and, yes, it is mainstream. And to that one person- the hater of punk music, you know that the goth look was spawned from punk, right? And to those people claiming to be goth but uber-happy, you're not goth. End of story. True goths are depressed and unhappy. You have the look (no offense), but not the emotions for it. And, to all of you, not everyone that isn't a goth is a prep. I hate you all.

Goth is an offspring of Punk. Punk isn't dead, but *true* punk is fading, while goth is becoming hugely popular. But...in a fight between the two, I'd have to say... the emo's woul win. =^_^= What? They've got their razor blades handy!
