end the discrimination
As a child and teenager growing up in Belfast {late 90's & 00's} I was unfortunate enough to face the thrice 'overt' tool of discrimination due to being a 'white middle class Protestant {Snabby Awrange ******* as it was put at that time, by aspects of the "community"}. Therefore as an adult I in my own small way have attempted to stand against Inequality, Discrimination, Racism, Sectarianism and many other forms of injustice. This, from whatever side, or from whatever quarter it comes from.
Yet this 'policy' though, in relation to the Slugger O'Toole website is, I believe, a throw back to yesteryear. A situation from which many had thought and hoped we had begun to move on from.
I would have thought that those of my generation and younger would not have had to witness such similar ‘overt discrimination’ arising once again. It seems to me, watching this situation unfold that we seem in some instances to be going backwards and not forwards...
