I support this petition because making abortion illegal would make them illegal to rape victims, children who made the wrong decisions, as well as people who decide to have stupid sex. Why should the innocents have to suffer as well by being forced to have a baby she cannot take care of? Adoption agencies are mostly jokes. Go adopt a child from a third-world country--Mother knows that there are enough who need help. The government would just be forcing a woman to go through nine months of unwanted pregnancy just to give up a child to strangers who might not even give it a good home, why not just save it the future suffering? Whether or not the government legalizes abortion, they will still happen. With legal clincs, women will have a safe place to go, rather than risk their lives further during the processes of illegal abortions, much like those in the past.
