Broken Huezos has no idea what he's talking about. A good sampling of punk bands would include such bands as the Sex Pistols, the Clash, the Jam, the Ramones, the Buzzcocks, and the Germs. Once the 80s rolled around punk split into post-punk and hardcore, the latter of which included bands like the Dead Kennedys, the Descendents, the Misfits, Black Flag, and Suicidal Tendencies.

Green Day - the most talented of them through Insomniac. GC - boring pop-rock. Simple Plan - boring, whiny pop-rock. NFG - more boring, just as whiny pop-rock. Sum 41 - mediocre pop-punk. Blink 182 - a more highly regarded pop-punk band, until their most recent two albums. Yellowcard - one of the few somewhat original punk-pop bands (have a fiddle player), but still somewhat whiny and i need of work on songwriting. Papa Roach - crap. Linkin Park - crappy nu-metal. Nickelback - the worst band in history.
