Predatory Banking Practices
I took out a loan once with MBNA for a computer course for $2000.00 . The first bill arived on the due date. I paid by phone (it costs an additional $15.00) to avoid any penalties , but I got them anyway, "cuz it takes time to process this stuff".
I of course blew off the balence and cancelled my MBNA account. They had scammed me for about $350.00 in the first 45 days!
I'd chew bark before I'd do business with them again.
The jokes on Bank of America/MBNA. I just wrote a $550,000.00 mortgagae with another lender at a better rate.
