Road Tax, Fuel tax and insurance premium tax are already used as major sourcers of Governement revenue, and only a very small amount of this is used to benefit travellers. The UK motorist is already the highest taxed in the world, enough is enough! Congestion is caused by the Government's failure to address the failings of the Public Transport system. The new plans for nationwide congestion charges will not reduce congestion.
