I support this petition. As a working mother, I need my daughter and son to carry a cell phone with them, especially my son who has asthma. As long as these items are kept in their backpacks during school hours, I see no reason they cannot have them. Another option is for the school to hold these items till school ends, but then if they dissappear, the school ad. is resonsible!
