please, please, please NO!!!!!! the show is about crime scene investigation. and even if you wanted to explore relationships between characters then those two are not it. look at past episodes and the only option would be gil and catherine if there was to be a romantic relationship. oh, and uh, if you do go that way, no zooming in really, really, really close.

first off, this is a crime show. concentrate on the crimes first. gsr? awkward, tired, boring, lacking chemistry, somewhat stalkerish. the whole relationship (that isn't even there) makes me embarrassed for the characters. go with the mature relationship the writers have already created between cath & gil. the chemistry between helgenberger and petersen is sultry hot. check the ratings for episdoes concentrating on these two relationships and you will see which one scores more views. it's not the one that makes you cringe, but the one that makes you smile.
