dear dogs for shlogs, obviously you've never had a pet or a child. Both are raised, molded into being a great or not so great creature. My question: Why don't they start with problem(bad parenting) to find a soultion. I have had my rednose pit around her baby sister (my 3 year old) since the day she was born. The only thing that dog would attack is something she believes is trying to harm Elizabeth or myself. On another hand, Iv seen her more excited to meet strangers and get a belly rub then any child is excited to see their own parents. Please don't compare facts when you have none. And in answer to your question... i would still be against the ban if my dog would have killed my daughter, that would have been poor parenting, child and pet, on my part. It should be me that is punished if such should happen.

This is a ridiculous law. People, its time for us to stand up and vote. We live in a country where we can make a difference. Lets do something about it !!!

This needs to stop before it goes to far. What next?? Killing people that transmit the flu, or cold, or any virus that causes pain or sickness. Ban the deed, not the breed. Take action on the owners that mistreat the animals. Ban them.

I am a single female of 22 and have one of the most sweetest pitbull. She is excited when anyone walks in the room. Loves attention and would prob pee on your foot before even thinking of growling. She is 2 years old and has not even growled at a cat much less a person. There is nothing wrong with the breed. What the government needs to consider is how the dog, pitbull or german shepperd or boxers or ANY breed, is being raised. There IS already a law against mistreating of animals. Maybe they should focus on that for a minute, because that is where it starts. In the home, just as it does with children. Hate the deed, not the breed.
