I support this petition because students are asked to go on trips and then have to return on their own without the teachers and if they work after school they need to have a cell phone for emergency purpose. I email my sons school principal on this about a month ago and i did not get a response from him. All I ask is for my son to be able to take it in his school bag for emergency use only. I understand if they took it away from him if he used it in class but if its in his bag they should leave it alone.
