Drilling in the Arctic is not a solution to the energy crisis it is merely a false promise that both the government and the oil corporations are using to pull the wool over everyones eyes. It is a huge money making venture for the the oil companies/government(one in the same). Most likely the oil will be sold overseas dispite what they want people to believe but if indeed it is sold here the so called lower oil prices could not justify endangering the lives and killing wildlife - some of which is not found anywhere else on earth.Of course many people are pro-drilling because the government-oil companies have created a promise of wealth to the people living there, better economy and a promise of lower fuel costs to citizens of the USA.
