who gives a toss? if some band is called pop and i dotn liek them, im not gonna suddenly start liking them if they are considered 'punk'. and i thought the numbere one rule with 'punk' is that there are no rules, so im sick of hearing, "they cant be 'punk' cos they do such and such"

Green Day arent taht great, they only doing whats been done before hundreds of times(and done before better in a lot of cases(and even being done better as we speak(read? type?))). The singer guy isnt taht great a song writer, i mean, captain obvious or what? Their sound hasnt really changed at all in over 15 years and they still use power chords(its so much easier to play barre chords) and they have that lameness taht almost all american bands have, and the divvy scene following , you knwo the kind of people, they all wear converse all-stars listen to green day, my chemical romance and the adventurous ones heard a ffaf song on the radio once, and they all "hate chavs and bush", well, way to be different, all those people who love bush and chavs, and try concentrating on politics a bit closer to home yeh? anyways, back to green day, i'd call them gay but thats just immature

laaaaaaaame, if someones "punk" then theyre punk, even if whattheywear is copying some 50 yrold from the 70s, copying their mates, copying the guy who works at burtons with the gay mullet, or whether they copy their chav cousins. punk isnt soem race or personality trait. if someone says their punk, then its not hurting you. and punk is clichéd anyway. so's the word cliché.

again with the lame punk stuff. right, it doesnt matter what 'genre' soem band fall under, theyre still who they are. ie. Neils Children and The Paddingtons and BabyShambles, are they punk? who cares, theyre ****in great though. McFly, Razorlight, Beethoven, are they punk? who craes, theyre still crap

to be honest, i should htink there is socialism in american government(social security? the american equivelent of the nhs? etc) but i can never see america going socialist, they praticalyl crushed communism in the 21st century(even if it was divvy curropt stalinism).

im 14, and whatever the age is, it doesnt seem to stop me or anyone else. its 18 here, and itd be divvy for the government to show their support to teenage binge drinkers.
