I agree with post number nine. Affirmative action is a great idea, but I tend to get a little ticked off when a very wealthy African American child in my class talks about how he should receive the benefeits of affirmative action, while I should not, even though I have to receive financial assistance to attend my high school, and even with that still have to dig into my money set aside for college. Affirmative action is a good idea, but people of all races need it, not just minorities. After all, people of all races can be poor, or for that matter wealthy.

You can't be serious! My grandpa and three great uncle fought for Germany in ww2, one of them was even a Nazi, and my whole fanily is STILL intelligent enough to know that the mass murder of millions of people may have just been, well, hmm, lets see...A BAD THING. Of all those people who fought for Germany in ww2, few of the actual fighting men were anti-Jew, and I can't thi nk of a greater insult to those soldiers then what you are all saying. These men didn't die to kill Jews, they died to protect their homes, just like Russian soldiers, and of all the things about Germany to bring up, this is the one you chose? The worst part? I can tell you this, if you think that you would be making the German soldier happy by saying that, you've got another thing comin'.

heck, my ancestors fought for the north, but i still say get the rebel flag back. heritage, not hate. it's just that a bunch of idiots have used it over time as a racist symbol. Many have forgotten that Rob E. Lee was against slavery, jefferson Davis educated his slaves (against the law) and that one of the wealthiest, largest slave owner (known to be the cruelest slave owner also) was an ex-slave African American himself. We're also forgeting about the many African Americans that contributed to the C.S.A.'s war effort.

Here's another sad fact: A certain program to help 3rd world countries was started inthe U.S.A., and it now has a few stations in the U.S. itself. Doctors from 3rd world countries come to certain places here in America to train (simular conditions) for the work they will be doing back at home.

If you knew the true meaning of religion, you would not be saying this. Yhe majority of religions basically say that we should not fight, should not kill, should not harm others. If the world was really following religion instead of manipulating it for their own benefeit, then there would be no deathes due to religion. Therefore, the deathes and hate towards other religions is not a product of religion itself, but rather of us as human beings. The fault is not religion, it is our imperfection and direct sin against it. Religion calls for peace, and so religion is not the problem, but its direct opposite.

You really don't know what you're talking about. I'm not trying to like be a jerk or anything when I say that, but once you really find true life in Jesus, one of the most elementery things that you learn about God is that he does not control all the aspects of our lives. If only good things happened to us then everyone would beleive in God because of the obvious. However, he does not make everything perfect for us. This way, you actually have to have some real devotion to God to come to know him. It's like all good things. You can't sit and let them come to you, you earn them through our actions, thoughts, and words. God bless.
