We now live in a world where the definition of "God" and his purpose differs widely throughout the world. Be careful what you wish for, you could get it! No matter how much of a Christian you think you are, there's someone out there who thinks they have it all figured out, and sooner or later they will find some harmless, normal, private thing YOU do and decide that you are violating God's law. Then where will you be? Let the law be impersonal and objective, please. We will all be better off. We don't have to ban religious expression from the public arena, but allowing flawed, sin-filled people to dictate for others is treading on very, very dangerous ground.

I'm a fiscal conservative and a capitalist. Our economic system works (pretty much) because there's a balance of give and take. Before putting out a blanket idea such as "let everyone live here unrestricted and we'll all be happy," please take the time to study the basic principles of economic systems. Being opposed to unrestricted immigration is not automatically racism. I'd fight for the right of any CITIZEN (tax-paying, natural-born, who contributes legally to our system) to live and work anywhere they want here, regardless of their race, religion, gender or sexual orientation. But there are too many people who sneak into the country, feed the underground substandard labor pool, and send $ back out of the country, all the while using tax-funded services (schools, medical, etc.). Capitalist conservatives understand that although the system may appear impersonal and based on "the almighty dollar," it is this very thing that keeps it humming alo...

We need better, safer habitats for all wild animals. Support any private landowner who protects wildlife.

Yes, we should save the clock tower. While we're at it, get rid of all the crazy drunk drivers and run Biff out of town on a rail. And no one should be allowed to have "Calvin Klein" written all over their underwear unless that's their real name.
