The best pokemon episodes are from before Misty left the show. Why did she leave anyways? Pokemon may be intended for a younger audience, but Misty 100% loves Ash, and this is a very good plot line to follow, as it would attract an older audience to add to the youth audience. Also, love is not new to pokemon, so it wouldn't be to big a risk to try an Ash Misty romance.
