I have donated clothes there for the past 7 years. I have met some of the men and women who have benefitted from the donations of my families and friends. It will be truly sad that a community as economically diverse and challenged as Sunset Park/Bay Ridge will lose yet another much needed neighbourhood gem. It seems like the role in our society of helping those less forunate than us, is diminishing as quickly as the real estate developers can put up hig rises along fourth avenue and in Brooklyn!
