This is the only show my family watches together.

I support this petition. If one thinks of the structure of the show in terms of architecture - (as in constructing a house or perhaps a Lighthouse) then I believe the writers have been systematically removing load-bearing beams,and the cornerstone: Phillip/minimizing the Bauers. I guess the walls will be coming down. They already are - the outdoor set CO2. It probably serves the purpose of an inexpensive set where everyone can bump in to each other and eavesdrop, but it is claustrophobic. I can't really get in to other soaps but I know your casting is amazing so you stand to lose people who go on to other things, but I've worked on many tv shows and know the signs of cancellation fear and how destructive and consuming that perception is. I can tell you are trying to deal with a cut budget, but now is the time to rethink if it is effecting the direction you take the show. Your viewers like the stability that GL always had.
