Let's ask Oprah to expose Puppy Mil...
Puppy mills are far more common than most people think. It is a form of income that is acquired by breeding puppys and adult dogs back to back to back! Causes dogs with heath problems, genetic defects and other issues. This is a major issue
PITBULL AWARENESS
Its about time the real truth about American Pitbull Terriers came out. This beautiful intellignet breed of dog has been abused for generations, and that abuse has been glorified by the media and caused chaos for these poor animals. They are now hated and treated with anger and abuse by the general public. How about we show the truth, how pits really act when they are owned by loving caring respectful owners. Its about time we deal with these issues.
Help stop Pitbull ban in New Mexico!!!!!
It is not the dogs who need to be punished, it is the irresponsible uneducated owners. These dogs are intelligent, loyal and so badly just want to please their owners and be loved. They are not people aggressive at all. They were never bred to be. However, the dogs that do attack 99.8% of the time are not Pit Bulls, they are mutt dogs who may or may not have APBT in them, they more likely have a pit bull mix in them that came from some backyard breeders who were breeding brother to sister, father to daughter and so on. What we really need is to quit pointing the fingers at the dogs and aim our anger at the owners who abuse these dogs and make them what they were never meant to be. We need harsher laws for Dog fighters and animal abusers. Banning the breed is not the issue, it only takes away our rights as free americans to own the dog we choose. We need to stand up and make people take responsibility for their own actions and stop making the animals suffer the consequences.

Keep the Pit Bulls ALIVE!
The media has ripped apart the once upstanding reputation of the American Pit Bull Terrier. Once considered "The american dog" it is now associated with fear. We all know the truth behind the breed. We all know that these dogs originally were bred to fight other dogs. However, they were never bred to be human aggressive. How could a trainer train his "fighter" if his fighter hated him? In the last 40 years the undoing of this breed has been outrageous. Having gone from being a well noted war hero, to being a great family pet and companion this breed is now hated due to the treatment of inhumane individuals. Abused, beaten, forced to fight for food, puppies used as bait, set on fire, beaten almost till death and sometimes yes even sexually abused. We as American citizens have allowed this to take place. We have allowed the laws of this great land to allow these inhumane people to abuse and degrade an animal who is so intelligent, full of love and so athletic and want...
Oklahoma State Lawmaker Proposes Ban of ...
The legislative committee needs to look into other alternatives than banning ANY breed of dog, it is insufficient, and expensive.
