I am a TS in transition and I think you are quite wrong in much of what you say. First, TS's are getting more legal protection than ever before. I know that its not a lot compared to other minority groups, but its getting there. Second, I have a good career. And I know others that have good jobs/careers as well. We don't have to live off of welfare or be a hooker to survive. You have to keep trying. Unfortunately, many people who label themselves a TS are NOT true TS's. Most are just messed-up crossdressers with a fantasy that has gone too far. And there are others who should not be calling themselves a TS. Its also a matter of reality. To call yourself a TS is one thing. But, its another thing to go out in the world and be one, live as one. People considering transition need to consider, and even a lot of the people who already may be in an unsuccessful transition need to take an honest look at themselves and consider whether or not society will accept them as women, or...
