I support this petition. (Can people please stop using this forum to make themselves look stupid). I just want to got to a game and watch Victory play some nice football that I know is at a better standard than the one I'm playing at, like Queensland or Sydney does, who keep the ball on the deck, like all the good teams in the world do. If I can be taught to do this in a State 2 team then surely an A-league team should know better, but then again, the players are trying to follow the coach's lead, which is clearly mis-guided. If the long bomb works then use it, if it doesnt, the coach needs to have a brain to change the game either with smart substitutions or a complete change in tactics. Learn to pick the weakness in the opposition that complements the team's strengths, that's how you win games Merrick!! Get rid of Merrick or support for Victory will plummet!!
