Im a fan of metal myself, but to call rap talentless is perhaps a little ignorant. If you mean that the musical side to it (aka, the premade backing tracks) sucks then yes its true, i dont think they should be called muscians. HOWEVER, the rappers who do a good job with the actual rhyming are this modern societies closest thing to poets. (im talking poets to the normal people not poet laureates and whatnot)
