After personally viewing a number of side by side comparisons, even is stores where they blatantly push Blu-Ray over HD-DVD, it was clear that HD DVD has far superior Picture Quality--and even greater sound quality with Dolby true hd. Studios have nothing to lose and everyting to gain by releasing in both formats. Let the consumer decide, Either way the Studios win!!! Rick
