Secrecy is felony, I know from experience that lowering the drinking age would not only gratify youths with pride and responsibility rather than driving them underground, but it would indeed decrease binging among underage youths. I've seen and heard it first hand throughout all of high school. Binging, drinking irresponsibly and everything that goes along with it is driven by rebellion. Kids want responsibility, and when it is denied them it is only natural to rebel. Granting responsibility will grant kids with respect for their nation and their elders. Kids will learn early on to drink safely if given the opportunity. Lowering the drinking age will save lives because kids will realize that it is morally right for youths to have rights. This is the United States, where is our Freedom!
