The media will gladly publish stories about the horrible things these breeds have done, but dismiss any good acts. Have you heard about the the rottie that saved a woman from a fire? Notice how tiny that article is, how breif it is. If that same dog would have bitten someone, it would be two pages long. Why don't they talk about the rottie that assists learning at Stamm Elementry?. How come they don't talk about the Pit Bull that saved a family from a fire? Why doesn't the rottie who won the ASPCA Dog of the Year title for it's contributions to animal therapy get mentioned on the airwaves?

I DO NOT SUPPORT THIS PETTION! In actually, HUMAN AGGRESSION WAS BRED OUT OF PIT BULLS. Yes, that's right, BRED OUT OF THEM. I am sorry you fear them for something few individuals have done to ruin the reputation of this breed. The truth is, the majority of Pit Bull bites reported are FALSE. Mutts are often mistaken to be Pit Bulls, but are not anything close to that breed!! Did you look at the Pit Bull's expressions? Did you even notice if it may be wagging its tail in greeting? If its ears were perked in happiness? Or do you simply fear them JUST because of the breed?

I fully agree. Pit Bulls have been made out to be vicious, blood thirsty dogs by the media, when the truth is, they are really some of the sweetest dogs in the whole world. My neighbor owns a Pit puppy, and everytime I go up to it while he's walking her she jumps up and licks my face while wagging her tail. Now tell me, is that a 'dangerous' dog?
