i used 2 like rap until i listened 2 nirvana &they completely converted me! seriously, they made me realise how fake rap music is. i had a whole new outlook on life from listening to them and then got into other rock bands 2! its weird cause i was getting really depressed about how hip hop was the only thing that seemed 2 be rammed down ppls throats and was longing for a time when rock ruled the charts again (i.e. in the days of nirvana, pearl jam etc) & it seems like its actually happening.i mean look nas is saying "hip hop is dead" and jay z is putting kurt cobain footage up @ his concerts, even the rappers realise it! i remember me and my friends used 2 make fun of ppl that listened 2 rock music but now everyones listening to artic monkeys, killers etc. rock is back! wooo hooo!

I seriously agree! Music is changing 2 what it was back in the days when bands like Nirvana and Guns n Roses Ruled The Charts, and im glad about it! i used 2 listen 2 rap but when i listened 2 Nirvana they made me realise how fake rap is and now i listen 2 artic monkeys the killers Franz Ferdinand!dare i say it, a lot of my friends used 2 be 'wiggas'. We need the music world 2 go back to like what it was when rock bands ruled the world i.e. gnr and nirvana. i used 2 listen 2 rap but one day i turned on the tv and nirvana smells like teen spirit was on and it made me realise how fake rap is!!! yea, i totally agree. it needs to go back to like what it was back in the days when good bands like nirvana and gnr were the biggest bands in teh world. i think its happening 2 because i go 2 a school that when i started back in 2001 everybody listened 2 rap (including me) and we all used to make fun of ppl who listened 2 rock music but now every1s started 2 listen to bands like the artic monkeys, the killers etc. rappers even realise it-look @ jay z whose playing nirvana footage @ his concerts & sayin in interviews how much he liked nirvana and working with chris martin.he's realised the change is comning. music always does full circles-and thank God good music is coming back!!!
