Katie, Fist of all, most babies put up for adoption go UNADOPTED. In fact, the vast majority of babies who get adopted are "healthy white babies". It costs more to adopt an oh-so desired "healthy white baby" than it does to adopt an Asian, African (Black), or Hispanic baby. Why??? Because the Adoption Industry MAKES MONEY. Some History for you: Adoption was a system that found homes for ORPHANED children. In the mid twentieth century, adoption because a business where an infertile couple could "order" their own child from an unwed teenage slut, who would be coaxed out of having an abortion. Why did this happen? Because the Adoption Industry makes MONEY every time Sally Sue "chooses life". The adoption agencies are, by far, richer than Planned Parenthood or any abortion/birth control advocacy group.
