Horrible. Traditions which are cruel should be stopped. We live in a new day and age where inhumane acts of cruelty to animals is not necessary. We know there is no good reason for this tradition. The tradition should change with all the knowledge we have today, to be one that is not savage, inhumane or one that does not make the Japanese seem to be a disgusting people.
